Abstract: Cloud computing is a technology that uses the internet and central remote servers to maintain data and applications. Cloud computing allows consumers and businesses to use applications without installation and access their personal files at any computer with internet access. This technology allows for much more efficient computing by centralizing storage, memory, processing and bandwidth. A simple example of cloud computing is Yahoo email, Gmail, or Hotmail etc. You don't need software or a server to use them. All a consumer would need is just an internet connection and you can start sending emails. The server and email management software is all on the cloud (internet) and is totally managed by the cloud service provider Yahoo, Google etc. The consumer gets to use the software alone and enjoy the benefits. The analogy is, 'If you need milk, would you buy a cow?' All the users or consumers need is to get the benefits of using the software or hardware of the computer like sending emails etc. Just to get this benefit (milk) why should a consumer buy a (cow) software /hardware? Cloud computing is broken down into three segments: "application" "storage" and "connectivity." Each segment serves a different purpose and offers different products for businesses and individuals around the world. In June 2011, a study conducted by Version One found that 91% of senior IT professionals actually don't know what cloud computing is and two-thirds of senior finance professionals are clear by the concept, highlighting the young nature of the technology. In Sept 2011, an Aberdeen Group study found that disciplined companies achieved on average an 68% increase in their IT expense because cloud computing and only a 10% reduction in data center power costs. KEY WORDS Cloud computing, central remote server, Distributed Systems. Cloud computing is a technology that uses the internet and central remote servers to maintain data and applications. Cloud computing allows consumers and businesses to use applications without installation and access their personal files at any computer with internet access. This technology allows for much more efficient computing by centralizing storage, memory, processing and bandwidth. 1.Hypothesis: 1. Cloud computing is must be essential to the current scenario in mobile phone business. 2. Cloud computing used widely because of its applications are without installations and access centralized data by using internet exclusive of its own server at anywhere and anytime.

TO STUDY THE CURRENT SCENARIO OF CLOUD COMPUTING IN BUSINESS......

2.OBJECTIVES: To study the cloud computing to current scenarios. To study the cloud computing benefits to current businesses. To study the cloud computing fears and challenges. To study the mobile cloud computing. To study the challenges and solutions of mobile cloud computing. 3.INTRODUCTION: Cloud computing is so named because the information being accessed is found in the "clouds", and does not require a user to be in a specific place to gain access to it. Companies may find that cloud computing allows them to reduce the cost of information management, since they are not required to own their servers and can use capacity leased from third parties. Additionally, the cloud-like structure allows companies to improve software more quickly. Cloud computing is a general term for anything that involves delivering hosted services over the Internet. These services are broadly divided into three categories: Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). The name cloud computing was inspired by the cloud symbol that's often used to represent the Internet in flowcharts and diagrams. A cloud service has three distinct characteristics that differentiate it from traditional hosting. It is sold on demand, typically by the minute or the hour; it is elastic -- a user can have as much or as little of a service as they want at any given time; and the service is fully managed by the provider (the consumer needs nothing but a personal computer and Internet access). Significant innovations in virtualization and distributed computing, as well as improved access to high-speed Internet and a weak economy, have accelerated interest in cloud computing. There are 2 types of clouds: private or public. A public cloud sells services to anyone on the Internet. A private cloud is a proprietary network or a data center that supplies hosted services to a limited number of people. When a service provider uses public cloud resources to create their private cloud, the result is called a virtual private cloud. Private or public, the goal of cloud computing is to provide easy, scalable access to computing resources and IT services. Infrastructure-as-a-Service like Amazon Web Services provides virtual server instance API to start, stop, and access and configure their virtual servers and storage. In the enterprise, this computing allows a company to pay for only as much capacity as is needed, and bring more online as soon as required. Because this pay-for-what-you-use model resembles the way electricity, fuel and water are consumed; it's sometimes referred to as utility computing. Platform-as-a-service in the cloud is defined as a set of software and product development tools hosted on the provider's infrastructure. Developers create applications on the provider's platform over the Internet. PaaS providers may use APIs, website portals or gateway software installed on the customer's computer. Force.com and Google Apps are examples of PaaS. Developers need to know that currently, there are not standards for interoperability or data portability in the cloud. In the software-as-a-service cloud model, the vendor supplies the hardware infrastructure, the software product and interacts with the user through a front-end portal. SaaS is a very broad market. Services can be anything from Web-based email to inventory control and database processing. Because the service provider hosts both the application and the data, the end user is free to use the service from anywhere. 4.ARCHITECTURE:

Fig 1: Cloud Computing Sample Architecture Cloud architecture, the systems architecture of the software systems involved in the delivery of cloud computing, typically involves multiple cloud components communicating with each other over a loose coupling mechanism such as a messaging queue. Cloud computing architecture consists of two components Front end and Back end . Front end comprises the client's device and back end comprises the cloud itself. The whole system is administered via central server that is used for monitoring client's demands and traffic. 5.CHARACTERISTICS: Cloud computing have following key characteristics: Application programming interface (API) accessibility to software that enables machines to interact with cloud software in the same way the user interface facilitates interaction between humans and computers. Cost is to be reduced and in a public cloud delivery model capital expenditure is converted to operational expenditure. Device and location independence enable users to access systems using a web browser in spite of of their location. Virtualization technology allows servers and storage devices to be shared and utilization be increased. Applications can be easily migrated from one physical server to another. Multi-tenancy enables sharing of resources and costs across a large pool of users. Centralization of infrastructure in locations with lower costs. Peak-load capacity increases. Here, users need not engineer for highest possible load-levels. Trustworthiness: is enhanced if multiple unnecessary sites are used, which makes well-designed cloud computing suitable for business stability and catastrophe recovery. Security could improve due to centralization of data, increased security-focused resources, etc., but concerns can persist about loss of control over certain sensitive data, and the lack of security for stored kernels. 6.APPLICATIONS: Clients would be able to access any kind of information from anywhere at any time. They could access the cloud computing system using any computer linked to the Internet. Data wouldn't be cramped to a hard drive on one user's computer or even a corporation's internal network. It could bring hardware costs down. Cloud computing systems would reduce the need for advanced hardware on the client side. You wouldn't need to buy the fastest computer with the large memory, because the cloud system would take care of those needs for you. Instead, you could buy an economical computer terminal. The terminal could include a monitor, input devices like a keyboard and mouse and just

enough processing power to run the middleware necessary to connect to the cloud system. You wouldn't need a large hard drive because you'd store all your information on a remote computer. Cloud computing systems give these organizations company-wide access to computer applications. The companies don't have to buy a set of software or software licenses for every employee. Instead, the company could pay a metered fee to a cloud computing company. Servers and digital storage devices take up space. Some companies rent physical space to store servers and databases because they don't have it available on site. Cloud computing gives the option of storing data on someone else's hardware, removing the need for physical space on the front end. 7.CLOUD COMPUTING BENEFITS IN BUSINESS: Cloud computing is one of the fastest growing technologies being employed and used by big and small companies and businesses today. To define cloud computing one can say that is the use of outsourced computing resources that can be employed or accessed through networking or the internet. Cloud computing can be compared to electricity and power grid. The consumer can easily gain access to electricity or power by simply turning on an appliance; although the consumer does not involve in the manufacturing or know the location where electricity is produced accessing it is very simple. Cloud computing is designed for computing scalability, to ensure that businesses meet their requirements if tasks that involve computer use rises. Since these services are outsourced immigration to cloud computing is fairly easy, everything will be done and be provided by the vendor. Conventional computing usually, involves it takes months and months of preparation and installation of servers, however since cloud computing is outsourced these phases are no longer required hence cutting down the number of days and hours for installation alone. Everyone of us may have heard of cloud computing at least once, the only problem is not everyone is aware of what it is all about and how it can change our computing styles and resolve some of the complex computing issues we may have encountered. Several cloud computing companies are making noise around the world and have revolutionized business processes for the better. What makes these cloud computing companies so popular? It's the computing models they offer and what these models and how these models can resolve complex computing issues. Computers are complicated machines and applications are full of restrictions, and takes space to run and install in computers. Imagine all the applications and programs you can run without that ultra powerful, expensive and power hungry server seating there in that air-conditioned room staring at you 8.THE BEST CLOUD COMPUTING COMPANIES

Fig.2: cloud computing companies Really, cloud computing providers have provided many opportunities in business or online business. Now, you are able to access any kind of information from anywhere at any time. It is very simple to uphold and store the information with a simple click of mouse. If you want to communicate with your clients, you will be able to access information easily and simply through cloud computing. By using the

cloud computing services you can enjoy a flexible operation in your business or business related jobs from anywhere at any time. Let's see the cloud computing companies in the world. You can check their reputation and trustworthiness .To know the reputation and reliability of a cloud computing company; you can try to consult with former clients and partners of that company. You can check their service level agreements. From their quickness of working, you can know the support commitment. If there is a good combination between commitment and services, you can prefer them as best. Apart from this, you can see the support department. You can check the appropriateness for performing well. If it is not suitable for your company, you should not hire it. A good cloud computing company will ensure the best security. If any company offers sound as well as safe infrastructure, you can think it to buy for your use. After choosing the best cloud computing services, you can enjoy the facility using a tablet computer, laptop, a Smartphone; phone and so on to access the critical business information from anywhere and anytime. 8.CLOUD SECURITY: FEARS AND CHALLENGES: Recent studies have shown that more than 60% of IT managers admit to security as the main stumbling block to their integration of cloud computing, with data protection and a perceived lack of regulation being their chief concerns. In another global study by IBM that involved more than 500 IT managers, it showed that 77% of businesses fear that cloud computing will necessitate privacy trade-offs, and 50% feared data breaches. Another 23% fear that cloud computing threatens corporate security. But really, the challenges facing cloud computing can be categorized into three; data protection, user authentication and data breach and damage. Let's study each in detail. 1. User Authentication This is all about access and who accesses the data whether in transit or storage. Since cloud computing is usually done beyond the clients' firewall, there's always that fear of putting data 'out there'. Traditionally, businesses store their data on physical servers in their premises and the hardware would need an on-site access to compromise or breach the data and this has been seen as a deterrent to hacking and illegal access. User authentication is still one of the main fears despite the fact that cloud providers ensure data encryption besides employing necessary safeguards to monitor access. 2. Data Protection No company would ever want to expose themselves to any risk concerning their data (in transit or in storage) because the ramifications of this are too great to even imagine. Data that are often closely guarded include both internal and external data that touch on the company and client information respectively. If a company's security process is called into question, clients will lose confidence in their services and this will affect the overall turn-over, even put the entire company out of business. 3. Data Breach, Damage and Loss There's a perceived threat to data in cloud because of varied reasons and one of them is fears of data loss, breach or damage. This is one security jitter however that has been counter-checked with cloud data back-ups and multiple server storage. In fact, data in cloud is less prone to breaches and physical damages like fire, floods, etc that are usually a risk in physical servers Failure to comprehend the whole idea of cloud computing is also proving to be a challenge especially among businesses seeking to use the service for the first time. This is precisely why businesses and organizations are being encouraged to allay perceived security fears and try to exploit the positives of cloud computing. But even as the fears are sustained across the business setting, professional cloud computing providers are investing colossal amounts of their budgets to implement high security solutions in efforts to lock clients' resources in high security data centers accessible only to authorized entities. 10.10 Tips for Keeping Your Cloud Data Safe: While we are all very happy about the entire cloud data storage concept and feel that it's a breath of relief from the constant battle against malware, key loggers, PC monitoring software, and whatnot, we tend

to forget that there are steps which we need to take to ensure security even after we have shifted all our digital luggage to the cloud. It's not as difficult as putting security barriers on an Android but sometimes it isn't a walk through the park either. So to cut down the confusion and help the technologically helpless, here are ten steps that will make your life on the cloud a smooth experience. Password First If we are talking about ideal scenarios, then your username and password should be unique for every service or site you have to use credentials for. The reason is simple enough: if one gets compromised, so do the rest of your accounts. Security Question, Check Try your best to avoid questions to which answers can be found just by taking one glance online, for instance, on your Facebook profile. Best way to go about this is to choose a question and answer it with another question's answer. For instance if you choose the question where did you live as a kid, answer with 'yellow'. 11.3 Try Out Encryption Whenever this is possible, this is a great idea. Encryption software does require some effort on the part of the user but it will also scramble and code your credentials so that no one will be able to procure them easily. 11.4Manage Passwords By this time you will have a lot of passwords and usernames to be tracking and taking care of. So to manage this get your hands on an app or software that will do this for you. A great option is the LastPass utility. 11.5Two Factor Authentication This means that there are two modes which are being used by the site before allowing the user entry. So instead of just username and password, a unique code will also be required which is available through a text message to your phone at the time of log in. This way even if someone gets your credentials, they won't have the unique code and hence access will be denied. 11.6 Don't Think, Just Backup It may be strange to be told to backup data on a physical drive when it comes to securing cloud data, but that is what you need to do. This is why you shouldn't think over it; you should simply backup your data on an external drive and keep it with you. 11.7 Delete When Done Again, why bother deleting anything when there are limitless data storage options around? The reason is that you never know how much data can later become potentially dangerous for you. If an e-mail or a warning message from some bank account has outlived its worth, simply delete it. 11.8 Be Careful Where You Log In Many times we end up logging in from devices other than our own. And of course we tend to forget that these other devices may be saving our information via web browsers. 11.9 Use Anti-Virus and Anti-Spy Software The reason for this, despite having to do with cloud data, is that all the access to the cloud is from your system first. Hence if your system is at risk, so is your online data. If you forget to encrypt then a key

logger may get to your cloud vendor password and hence all may be lost anyway. 11.10 Keep Your Mouth Shut

Never share any information regarding your cloud storage with anyone. Keeping passwords a secret is a must but lay low on telling people which vendor or service you use too for extra security. 11.SUITABILITY While the business runs through a suitable cloud environment, then it can be considered the existing cloud computing company is exact for your business. If there is no-obligation for free trail offered by a company, it will be taken in account as more suitable for you. Thus you can know the suitability of a company to run the business in a suitable cloud environment and how the company works before making an enduring commitment. 12.CASE STUDY: MOBILE CLOUD COMPUTING

Thanks, Cloud Computing, For Shaping Our Future.

Fig.4: Mobile Phones When people are crazed with the latest gadget on the market, they may fail to remember that somewhere beneath the surface someone is working on its next replacement and, unmistakably, with a bulk of more advanced features which one cannot even think of right now. When in 1999, BlackBerry made its breakthrough entry and pushed a new phrase, mobile cloud, in the dictionary, people were skeptical about its purpose. They used to carry a huge mobile phone in the pocket just to check inbox and send e-mails from time to time. But now, even college students prefer to buy a cell phone with a push mail feature. Cloud computing teaches us new technologies and new things, changes our habits and way of living. The cloud is the latest addition to this list of life-changing technologies and, as morning shows the day, current cloud happenings shows a brighter future for all of us. Consider those thousands of mobile apps that we use every next minute to perform some actions, from checking the latest tweets to sharing the photo of a cute baby you just captured using your Smartphone. Apps help us to stay connected with our peers and families. Some of the mobile applications even perform actions on your behalf. An app automatically shares snaps you captured during an event with other people who were also present at the event. Another app pays your restaurant bill directly from your bank account. For example, square up is an iPhone application which sets you free from using cash or swapping your credit card at the cash counter. All you need is to find a nearby restaurant using Square's map, check in, have your meal, and during checking out just tap on the name of the restaurant shown on your phone and your bill will be paid. While walking out, the register will confirm your payment. Give it a few more years and you will see the rise of fully-automated, integrated, and invisible cloud system innovations which will indicate a restaurant where you can find suitable food as per your current diet chart and see your friends' ratings on the dishes. And most importantly, the complete system will work behind the curtain because that's the magic of smart technology: it will not poke you, disturb you, or ask you to remind it its tasks. It will just be there when you need it the most. 13.CHALLENGES AND SOLUTIONS: Though there are lots of advantages of mobile cloud computing in business and daily world. The main goal of mobile cloud computing is to provide a convenient and fast method for users to access and receive data from the cloud still they have serious limitations limited computing capability , energy resources,. They have less process capacity, small storage memory and low speed. The major challenge of mobile cloud computing comes from the characters of mobile devices and wireless networks, as well as their own restriction and limitation, and such challenge makes application designing, programming and

deploying on mobile and distributed devices more complicated than on the fixed cloud devices . Normally iphone, Smartphone needs to be charged everyday for calling, surfing, message sending. This is wireless network, hence sometimes connection may be failed due to network problems and most important thing is data transfer rate is constantly changing. So handover delay is more than wired network. Mobile computing is facing such challenges. Here researcher discussed the some of the challenges and provide some possible solutions below:

14.CONCLUSION Cloud computing helps to store data on remote servers and applications are used virtually, hence there is no need to have own servers. Small and Medium enterprises move towards cloud computing to reduce the cost of information management. It delivers hosted services on internet so that companies use that services without installation and free of cost. The user loses control over the software application and becomes dependent on the provider to maintain, update and manage it. We have presented our vision of cloud computing architectures, where mobile devices become core computing nodes because of their rapidly growing capabilities. We have discussed some examples of the mobile Clouds approach. Although these ideas are preliminary, we believe that mobile Clouds will play a vital role in the future mobile computing landscape. Cloud Computing will definitely leverage the mobile handsets to the level of Super Duper Smart with no foggy future ahead. 15.FINDINGS Most of companies, enterprises are not moving towards cloud computing concept because some are not having idea about it and some are not familiar with this. They are thinking about privacy, security, transferability, downtime and other terms and conditions. 16.SUGGESTIONS Be familiar with cloud computing. Go with best organizations which provide privacy, security and guarantee. Choose standardized companies.
