Thursday, 20th June Venue: Canterbury Suite , Charing Cross Guoman Hotel Our most anticipated events are usually our annual conferences and summits. That is when we get a great privilege of attracting some of the most interesting personalities from the industry and learning a greater deal of some of the much anticipated individuals and companies. However when we sat down to plan this event, we decided that we were ready for the next step, that we really wanted to celebrate these great minds and personalities and share their amazing achievements with the audience; giving everyone opportunity to take a closer look at what does it take to stand out and become true experts in the field. So heres what weve decided: To get some time tested and industry approved brilliant minds around the judging table and objectively reward those that shine even brighter than the rest not just an ordinary thank you or recognition from BOC, but a valuable assessment from the industry heavyweights. To put the spotlight on the Innovations since this has been driving force for the event as well as the industry. As we all know too well it is not just happening in traditional technology companies its happening in startups with game changing e-commerce models, in marketing and PR firms with new products for improving their clients strategies AND in established and emerging technology companies alike (plus many other types of companies, of course). So, we named the award the Innovative Marketing and PR awards and thanks to the great people we get to work with on daily basis, we have huge expectations for this award in the years to come. We are currently working on the strategy to grow the awards and make it one of the most exciting events to sign up for, with a fresh and simple approach to the application by judging process and an exciting approach to the in-person experience (this will be a celebration, after all). Our Goals This Year are to celebrate the products that are driving the future of marketing and PR and revolutionizing the way we work and play; and of course recognize some truly amazing personal innovations and Individuals.

TONY COLL
Tony Coll is one of the UKs most experienced media and presentation coaches and trainers. A former BBC TV and BBC Radio reporter and producer, he has worked for many years with senior figures from companies and organisations of all sizes; politicians; national and local government officers; health service and utility managers; pressure group spokespeople; charity workers; chief police and fire officers. He worked at cabinet level with the late Veronica Crichton, former director of communications at the Labour Party, in media training several UK government ministers. Tonys training can be delivered in the form of personal coaching or consultancy, in groups or as part of wider emergency response training. It covers effective emergency communication with newspapers, radio, TV and social media as well as addressing live audiences. Tony Coll is an Oxford law graduate who began his career as a newspaper reporter in North East London and Sheffield. He moved on to the BBC World Service, BBC Radio One Newsbeat, BBC and commercial local radio and BBC regional TV in Manchester and London. He has interviewed cabinet ministers and other public figures; researched, produced, reported and presented news and current affairs programmes, from hard news, sequence programmes and built documentaries, through live political discussions and phone-ins, to lighter features, celebrity profiles and vox pops.

David Green is Head of Global Digital Marketing for KPMG, a $23 billion professional services firm, where he is responsible for worldwide digital marketing strategy and operations, developing both organizational capability and competence in digital. David has over 15 years international experience of successfully leading digital strategy and governance, and implementation of complex, enterprise-level digital projects in global B2B environments. He works closely with executive stakeholders on strategy development, governance, branding, operations and performance reviews, budgets. Specifically for social media, David led the creation of KPMGs enterprise social media strategy, hiring and leading a team responsible for strategy implementation, channel health and consistency, monitoring, influencer outreach, audience engagement, crisis management and campaigns integration.

DOUG DAWSON
VP, Media Relations Nokia Doug oversees Nokias global and regional media relations efforts, which include the development of Nokias media relations strategy and social media amplification via channels like Nokia Conversations, the companys official blog. Doug is also responsible for Nokias communications efforts at the country-level, serving as the link between Nokias global communications team and its in-country counterparts. When hes not serving as a spokesperson, writing statements or putting out fires, Doug likes being a dad.

Antony Mayfield is Founding Partner at Brilliant Noise, a digital strategy agency working with brands including Nokia, Kiddicare/Morrisons, University of Warwick and Picturehouse Cinemas. He is the author of the best-selling book on how to manage personal reputation online, Me and My Web Shadow, which has been published in several countries by Bloomsbury. In 2006, he founded the content and social media teams at iCrossing, which became the largest independent digital marketing firm in the world, before being sold to Hearst Media in 2010.

Stuart Bruce is one of the global pioneers of digital public relations and has been actively using online public relations since the mid-1990s. He started writing his A PR Guys Musings blog (www.stuartbruce.biz) ten years ago when it was one of the worlds first public relations blogs. He is now an international consultant and trainer specialising in digital corporate communications, online PR, digital public affairs and social media working with clients as diverse as the Office of the President of the European Parliament, government departments in the Middle East and Europe, European Union agencies and multi-national companies in sectors as diverse as oil and energy, financial services, fashion and consumer electronics.
