HOUSEKEEPING Housekeeping of the warehouse will include : Dusting of Cartons / Tables / Chairs etc Removing of webs Cleaning of floors by broom Mopping of floors For housekeeping, WH should stock proper no. of Buckets Mugs Dustbins Brooms Web cleaner Rods Moppers Dusters All warehouse Flooring & door &shutters needs to be clean on daily basis. Toilet to be kept in neat & clean condition and to ensure availability of water all time. Floor with holes / cracks needs to be repaired immediately Dedicated housekeeping person for carrying out this activity A Schedule for carrying out cleaning acitivity in the warehouse to be available with WM as per details given below Office Room - Daily in the morning Access Room Daily in the morning Packing Area Twice a day (morning before 1000 Hrs and after the packing activity is over) Aisles & Gangways Daily in the morning Stock Area All the cartons to be cleaned from top on daily basis. Depending on the surroundings, frequency can be more Toilet Thrice a day (morning, after noon & evening) Log sheet to be maintained Premise wise / Area wise. (to be displayed at the area) & on daily basis the activity needs to be captured in the respective log sheet related to a particular area or a particular premises. WM shall ensure that the bay marking (if erased / not visible) needs to be painted again and all the locations addresses need to be painted including the fire extinguishers symbols. All Signages outside & inside the warehouse to be displayed at proper places. All the stocks to be stored 2ft away from the wall for proper cleaning & in case of any dampness in the wall there wont be any damages. WM should ensure to keep the warehouse neat & cleam and free from pests. WM to maintain records of pest control done and schedule for carrying out pest control WM should ensure that all lighting are in good condition and replace defective light immediately.

Stacking norms to be followed fully and stacking nors to be displayed on the wall of the WH areas. All the activity of the housekeeping staff should be closely monitored by warehouse staff.
