Hi all,

I am sorry that I have got way behind on responding to e-mails and blogs. We have been
attending a special conference hosting Dr- Hugo R. Gambetta. He is wonderful Bible teacher.
His first message on August 10th was about apostasy and deceits of Satan. I was not able to copy
the many Bible references he cited. He doesn’t tell stories or jokes. He doesn’t use a computer
or a PowerPoint presentation of pictures etc or handouts. He was open to questions and
comments in the middle of his message. He later told me that he does not have written notes and
just relies on the Holy Spirit and his memory while he is speaking. Last year, at this conference,
he went to midnight in an evening session that began at 6:30 PM. He usually does the messages
in Spanish with someone translating into German. My wife and other individuals translated for
me into English. Sometimes Dr. Gambetta spoke in English for emphasis. Afterwards the Friday
evening message, he came to me to find out about where I lived in the USA and what my
concerns were. He agreed with the latter and said that the denomination needs a package of
Bible studies like mine that would encourage more personal Bible study and mid-week Bible
study discussion groups. So I will be doing that project as soon as possible. The conference
doesn’t end until Wednesday evening and Thursday some of us are going to Berlin to see a
museum which helps people understand how Daniel when in Babylon might have observed.

The second message had the following indicated Scriptures in them. Try to figure out what he
wanted to teach. 2 Corinthians 11:3-4; 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4; Matthew 24:23-26; Galatians 1:6-
9; Romans 16:25-26; 1 Timothy 2:16; Ephesians 1:9-12, 2:16, & 3:4-12; Hebrews 9:6-13;
Galatians 3:16-18; Genesis 3:15; Romans 10:12-13; Genesis 4:25-26, 4:3-5, 3:21, & 2:17; 1
Timothy 6:15-16; Hebrews 11:4; Genesis 4:25-5:5 & 2:7; the meanings of the names in Genesis
5 indicating the Gospel; Jude 14-16; 1 Peter 1:13-16; Hebrews 2:9-16; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18;
Genesis 5:1-12 & 1:26; Exodus 20:1-17 (explain the Ten Commandments in relation to agape--
unselfish love); John 1:12-13; Genesis 5:1-3; Galatians 2:20; Hebrews 10:16-25; Psalm 40:6-10;
Romans 8:1-10 & 4:17; 1 John 2:3-5. How many sermons have you heard with so much
Scripture? Dr. Gambetta is truly a Bible lover. The highlights in other messages: The mansions
mentioned in John 14:3-4 were already built. Could they have been for the fallen angels and the
saved believers are going to be the same number? He brought up few passages that have been
misinterpreted by most prophecy preachers which made me realize that I had to be even more
careful about determining the contexts of verses used. For example: Matthew 24:41-- the first
group are “taken by surprise” and the second group are the “left behind who are forgiven”. Luke
17:20-37 talks about destruction judgment, not the left behind after a pre-tribulation rapture.
“Eagles” in the last verse actually means vultures.

Please pray for me that I am able to proceed to do and complete the Bible study aide package as
soon as possible. I think that God is preparing for a huge ministry change to encourage
individual Bible studying and home group Bible study discussion groups. A few individuals who
attend the church I attend want me to begin two of such. I don't lecture or preach in such groups.
I am not a theologian or intellectual, and my vocabulary is probably like my IQ-- just a little
above average. In the group, we will go verse by verse asking ourselves if we believe the verse,
if the verse indicates personal changes for better Christ-likeness, or if the verse should be shared
in our witnessing to others in relation to the news. Such is related directly to what Jude 20-25
commands. Revival has happened in every such meeting I have been in the past. My first Bible
teacher did such in his home group. There will be another group for young Christians in
Matthew or John.

Onward for the Great Commission,

Bible lover Bill
Had a wonderful time getting to know Dr. Hugo R. Gambetta since last Friday night. He has
many of the same beliefs and concerns as we do and inspired Dolo's new zeal to learn more
spiritually. I learned a few new things about Scripture too. Others attending the meetings in a
public school auditorium. I think that I sent you my first response about the first messages. Dr.
Gambetta, Maria, and Manuel are going today to the large summer camp meeting in South
Germany (about 4 hours away). We will go next year to that one. It is supposed to be much
more conservative than the one we went to.

Dr. Gambetta, Manuel, Evelyn, three others, and I went to the Pergamon Museum which has
many different artifacts that are thousands years old. They also have excellent copies of Hittites
ones too. The Pergamon and the Babylon exhibits were impressive. The biggest of the Babylon
gates is still in boxes because there is not a big enough room for it to be put back together. I
forget which people the following was about but it sure contrasts to what is proclaimed and hated
in the USA: "Religion was the basis for all spheres of life." So many misuse a quote by the
Founding Father and former President Thomas Jefferson in a letter of his in order to proclaim the
separation of church and state proclamation. Dr. Gambetta had studied archeology and will write
his response to the museum soon.

Today I created the below because of the desires of two men at church. Please pray for the below
invitation to be fruitful in the next few weeks:

Jude (via the Amplified Bible)

“20 But you, beloved,
build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith
[make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher],
praying in the Holy Spirit;
21 guard {and} keep yourselves in the love of God;
expect {and} patiently wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah)--
[which will bring you] unto life eternal.
22 and on some have mercy and compassion who waver {and} doubt.
23 [Strive to] save others, snatching [them] out of [the] fire;
on others have pity [but] with fear,
loathing even the garment spotted by the flesh {and} polluted by their sensuality.
24 Now to Him Who is able to keep you without stumbling {or} slipping {or} falling,
and to present [you] unblemished (blameless and faultless)
before the presence of His glory
in triumphant joy {and} exultation [with unspeakable, ecstatic delight]--
25 to the one only God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord,
be glory (splendor), majesty, might {and} dominion,
and power {and} authority, before all time and now and forever
(unto all the ages of eternity). Amen (so be it).”

Jeremiah 15:16
“Your words were found, and I ate them,
and Your Word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart;
for I am called by Your name, O Lord God of hosts.”
2 Timothy 3:16-17
“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God,
and is profitable for doctrine,
for reproof, for correction,
for instruction in righteousness,
so that the man [or woman]of God may be complete,
thoroughly equipped
for every good work.”
Ephesians 2:10
“For we are His workmanship,
created in Christ Jesus for good works,
which God prepared beforehand
that we should walk in them.”

What did the above Scriptures mean to you? Have you ever experienced personal revival excitement
when reading the Bible or hearing a sermon with a lot of Scripture? Have you ever experienced a Bible
study group discussion going through a book in the Bible verse by verse? Do you desire to learn more of
God’s Word than what is being said during Sabbath school and in the Sabbath morning sermon? I have
recently met many who have the just mentioned desire; a few of them are in our church. Do you feel
ready for the Great Tribulation knowing enough of God’s wonderful promises to never forsake God the
Father or Jesus Christ, and are you ready to help others (especially those who have been wrongly taught
that they were to be raptured up to Jesus Christ before the Great Tribulation). I will open my home to a
Bible study group discussion going through a book in the Bible verse by verse for the participants to
personally learn from 1 & 2 Peter so that we can become better Christians and do what Jude 20-25
indicates. The proposed time is Fridays from 7-9 PM weekly. If interested, please contact me. My name
is Bill Stevenson and my e-mail address is for_sharing_truth@yahoo.com. My address and phone number
are following: .......................................
There will be three experienced facilitators for the discussion.

Thanks. Did you read my recent Yahoo 360 blogs.
