HADITH
Hadith
Abu Musa Al-Ash`ari (May Allah be pleased with him)
reported:
The Prophet (PBUH) said:

"Allah, the Exalted, will continue to

stretch out His Hand in the night so that
the sinners of the day may repent, and
continue to stretch His Hand in the
daytime so that the sinners of the night
may repent, until the sun rises from the
west".

This is the only place in the Quran, where a
person among the enemies of Islam has
been condemned by name.

This was not a curse which was invoked on

him, but a prophecy in which an event
taking place in the future, has been
described in the past tense, to suggest
that its occurrence in the future is certain
and inevitable.

Points to remember regarding prepositions
1. Same Preposition in Arabic is ِ‫بِأَصْحَاب ِالْفِيل‬
expressed using different
prepositions in different languages. ِ‫بِسْمِ ال‬

Sometimes, a preposition .2
may be there in Arabic but not
ِ‫يَ ْدخُلُونَ فِي دِينِ ال‬
required in English
‫اغْفِرْلِي‬
Sometimes, a preposition may .3 ‫َا ْرحَمْنِي‬
not be there in Arabic but
.required in English
َ‫قِنِي عَذَابَك‬

4. Change of preposition leads َ‫صَلّ لِرَبّك‬

to change in the meanings.
‫صَلّ عَلَى مُحَمّد‬

Ask Allah for knowledge! 1

ً ِ ‫عل‬
How will you say it???
 Like a person who is to undergo a big
operation. From the depth of his
heart.
 Like a hungry person for days prays
for food days and night. With all the
humility of a beggar.
How will you say it???
 Let us pray like a sick person who
wants to get rid of sickness of
ignorance;
 Like the one who really feels hunger
of divine knowledge.
How often will you say
it???
 Do you think a serious patient will
pray once a day?
 If we forget to even ask, that means
we don’t even feel the need.
Remember Allah’s
promise…
 Allah has PROMISED that He will
answer our prayers.
 Pray to Allah with the confidence that
He will teach me the Qur’an.
