Bugs Tan is an accomplished inventor in Malaysia. He has 15 national awards to his name. He received the National Innovation Award from the Prime Minister in 2007. In 2009, he was honored in India with an International Excellence Award for Innovation. In 2012 he was inducted into the Innovation Hall of Fame and made a TOKOH INOVASI by a local university. Again in 2012 he received the World Inventor ORDER OF MERIT from the Korean for his illustrious achievement as an inventor. Centre for Product Design and Manufacturing (CPDM) Centre for Product Design and Manufacturing (CPDM) was established to promote research and development in product design and manufacturing with direct and indirect collaboration with the industry. JR.TORNICS INVENTOR A UNIQUE CONCEPT

JR TRONICS INVENTOR is a program that let children have plenty of fun while realizing their potential in creative thinking. A handson activity is always one of the most effective methods to inculcate creative thinking amongst the young. Jr.Tronics Inventor Program offers a unique program through a guided self-realization approach. Through out the 8 weeks of class students are guided by their mentors in realizing their potential in being an inventor. Apart from one-to-one guidance students potential is realized through games, brainstorming session, workshops and presentations. At the end of the program student would gain the following skills 1. Understanding the inventors creative process 2. Understand Basic Design Knowledge and tool in Developing Inventions 3. Communicate Ideas Effectively 4. Apply Basic Design Knowledge and Tools in Developing Inventions Prototype 5. Marketing Ideas effectively

Another unique feature of this program is that each student is provided with a mechatronic inventor kit, a plug and play controller that they take home with them. It is suitable for beginners to apply on electro-mechanical projects quickly without involving complex programming.
