The National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States (the
"Commission") requests separate interviews with the following Department of Defense
officials during January 2004. Please provide proposed dates, times, and locations for
these interviews no later than January , 2004. The anticipated length of each
interview is two hours.

The Commission/anticipates that these interviews may involve the discussion of
