In the society men and women both are performing different works but if we see in broad view then we reached on that conclusion that so many works performed by both like men and women. In our society the people unaware toward the concept of women participation in each sector of life .It is true that without active participation of female no one community , society even a family cant move toward development .According to an English writer every successful man depend on women. So from this discussion we have a clear idea that without maximum participation of women a community cant be developed. Concept of WID and GAD WID Women in Development This concept will present in 1970s that with out the development of women no one nation can make their development, so according to this concept so many projects prepared for women and authority will be handover to women for running these projects but in later the result shows that with out the participation of men we cant got desired results, so then a new concept was present to the world which is known as GAD (Gender and Development). Gender and Development From this approach the experts try to remove the difference between men and women, they give an idea to work combine for the development of nation, there are no difference between men and women except Biological status, they both have equal status, body, mind and same environment for working .no one country can reached on the top of development with out their participation. Disaster Risk Reduction Disaster A serious disturbance of the functioning of community or society causes widespread human, material, economic and environmental losses which exceed the ability of the affected community or society to cope using its own level of resources.
