Introduction One of the most skills implicating the language is writing because we can express our feeling in writing if we cannot tell it. Because of that, the English teacher should develop these four language skills for the students in order to be able to use this skill to express their though, feeling and opinion in English even though in simple sentence writing. Writing is a basic skill that is very necessary for success complex and difficult to teach the mastery from the school. Language is a means of communication among individual people can express their idea and their wishes to the others through language such as well they need for help so that people among member of the group can be carried out. Language brings to cooperate with other people for their benefit as weel (Ramelan, 1992). Paragraf Language is a system that use by people to communicate everyday. It is to exchange and to interact with other. Language is used by all people in the entire world as a meaning of communicate. By language, people can express anything they want and without language, people just stop and stop because they dont know what they should do English as foreign language in Indonesia is to be important to absorb and develop science, knowledge, art and culture. English is considered as foreign language that has to be taught in the school it means that English is very important for the students to make a progress or their study. English has been taught as an important object in Junior High School and Senior High School in Indonesia. It is also taught at some institution like universities. English is used as the first language for communication all of the time. However, it does not mean that the result of teaching English in our school is satisfying despite the fact that is taught continuously for three years at Junior High School Each school has own goals of English teaching. The teaching material of English at SMP is different from that at SMU. The curriculum of English teaching includes the four skills; they are listening, speaking, reading and writing. Those four skills should be suitable with the goals stated in the basic course outline Writing is drawing the kinds of symbols to describe anything that is known by someone and it is the massage from the writer through these symbols, if we talk about writing ability, we cannot separate from the subject. There are many genres for examples: narrative, recount, report, procedure explanation. Narrative text support students skill developing in using language it assists students so improve their ability to communicate effectively, inquire, share, information express idea, make sense of life (Anderson and Kathy, 2007). Narrative text is which describes a sequence of real or unreal events to entertain or in form the reader. Narrative text will help the students to improve their language learning. The narrative writing is also a process. some piece of

texts narrative written are completely full of mistake. Because of that, the teacher have to make a correction of students work carefully. The students do revise and revise to get a good result. Finding the mistakes in the narrative writing has not always been easy, so that the teachers should be well prepared by teach the students. Based on KTSP, the students are expected to have good skills, and many influence in writing. The students have to have good writing in English. The teacher must be aware in order to help the students to eliminate the students mistakes little by little. Based on curriculum, the students must have a good skill especially in writing English. The definition of narrative text, narration is writing that tells a story. The story may be factual, imaginary or a combination of fact and imagination. But in any case, the chief characteristic of narration is a series of event usually in chronological order narrative is a spoken or written account of events. A story, narrative is telling of the story (Hornby, 1995:772). The narrative follows a chronological order with events happening in a time sequence. The writer selects the narrative story as the object of the study. Because everyone has a series a connected incidents. An interesting of study narrative story. It make the students happy that make a comfortable condition. In the other words, it is a story by presenting a sequence of events. Writing is probably the linguistic skills that is least used by most people in their native language good writing skills usually develop from extensive reading some specific training and a good deal of practice. Writing in an English language course may be handled in different ways for different purposes. The aim or the type of writing practice is to consolidate the learning of functional or grammatical items. Good writing is that discovered combination of words which allows a person the integrity to dominate his subject with a pattern both fresh and original. Bad writing, then is an echo of someone else combination which we have

merely taken over for the occasion of our writing .. Good writing must be the discovery by a responsible person of his uniqueness within his subject (Rahman, 1965:107-8) writing is used for a wide variety of purpose; it is produced in many different forms writing is not an easy task. It needs a process by which people comprehend what they have though and seen. Writing process is the stage a writer goes through in order to procedure something in its final written form. This process may of course, be affected by the content of the writing, the type of wring and the medium is written in but in all of these case it is suggested that the process has four main elements; planning, drafting, editing (reflecting and revising), final version. While process writing added a valuable new dimension to language classrooms, it has also attracted criticism one such criticism is that the process approach confines children largely to narrative forms and that this represents a serious limitation on their ability to master text types such as resports, exposition and arguments which are essential for academic success at school and beyond. The writing class should take into account the learners purposes for writing that of producing text for teacher evaluation writing skill can develop fast when students interest is acknowledged, when it is given numerous opportunities to write, and when it is encouraged to become participant in a community of writers. Studying the differences between skilled and unskilled writers provide information which can be transformed into pedagogy. In process term, skilled writers are much more aware or writing as an activity involving revision of successeive drafts of one texts. Unskilled writers, on the other hand, tend to limit them selves to teacher-generated rules and modification of lexis. Writing is clearly a complex process and competence is frequently accepted as being the last language. Writing skill is complex and difficult to teach since in the case writing does not only mean putting down graphic form on a piece of paper it involves at least 5 components are: content, form, grammar, style, mechanic. English is very important language. People around the world read English to get information; we can communicate to other people. In our country it as the first foreign language which is taught at those school, since Indonesia independent on

17 of August 1945. This decision is reasonable since English is important in International relationship between Indonesia and other countries. Based on the concept and function of English teaching, the aims of it develop the four skills. The writer try to get the data and information from book to the subject matter is select the data and the theories in thesis proposal. The writer tries to find out supporting ideas from some source books, newspaper and magazines related to the subject matter. She collects important information and ideas, which could support ideas, write this narrative from some competent authors. In learning English, students have many difficulties since English has a different language system from one they hear and use everyday. In this case students usually speak their mother longue in learning English. In teaching English, the curriculum uses the writing it means that the teachers are expected to give experience to the students directly in order to use English in making writing both spoken. It is also expected the teachers will is interesting and easy to be understood. There are two kinds of sampling technique, namely random and sampling to get research sample (Arikunto, 1988:117) said that total sampling is a technique of selecting sample in which each individual of the population has an equal chance to be included in the sample. Based on oxford, advanced learner dictionary (Hornby, 1995) the word descriptive means giving a picture in word or describing something, without expressing feeling and judging. The writer will use to analyze the data. It means that the writer will describe how far the students arrange their own words into a good paragraf. This type of teaching is best characterized by the phrase. Teachers define terms give directions, explain problems, answer question and otherwise present information to students. Knowles carried out extensive research into adult education and highlighted the problems of I appropriate learning for mature age students. The in is that the teacher takes the role of facilitator rather than teacher and allows to realize his or her own potential to make paragraf or writer. This point is particularly relevan for adult students who return to tertiary education at postgraduate level to prepare themselves for writer.

Time and location are the main barriers that hinder working form continuing their students. Due to their commitment to work, they are usually hard-pressed for time. Many of them do not have specific available time blocks which they can reserve or allocate for their students. Arikunto (2006:139) says that test is a questions which use to measure competent, knowledge, intelligence, ability or talent which is possessed by individual or group it is used to measure students ability in writing narrative test. The writer will explain about narrative text, give the test to students, give 60 minutes to the students to do the test, collect the result of the test and than finally; the writer will score for them. The writer will use a test a instrument to get valid data. The writer hopes that the result can be use to find out the students mastery in writing narrative and they will do the test by making a paragraf using their own words. Writing skill is complex and difficult to teach since in the case writing does not only mean putting down graphic form on a piece of paper. The basic reason in writing concept of the curriculum are as follows: curriculum is in the matter of the students ability to do something in the different context, the students explain experience in studying in order to be competent, and than curriculum is learning outcomes which clarify students action after learning process. The teacher gives a test to know the students ability using personal pronouns in addressing their family members. The forms of the test used in investigation their family members. The form of the test used in investigation is an objective test, multiple choices. The writer uses content validity because the writer wants to measure the students ability in addressing. A test is said to have high content validity if each items used to collect data has relevance to establish criteria or objective and conver representative material. The students select early one correct answer form four options, a, b, c and d. the entire test consists of 30 items. The teacher give score 1 for the right answer and score 0 for the wrong answer. The students can get a score of 30 if all the answer are correct and then deviden by 3. The test duration is 60 minutes. The writer uses a test, the test is used to measure the students ability in using personal pronoun in addressing their family member.

It is difficult for some students to understand the meaning of personal pronouns and sometime they confused to differentiate because they dont memorize personal pronouns in narrative writer. The teacher should ask the students to make a note about new vocabularies, ask them to repeat, memorize the new vocabularies and give more exercises. The teacher sometimes, it is better to give the students some advices and motivations. It is hoped that the students can concern irate then they have high motivation to learn and practice English every single day. The possible solutions for the problems are the teachers should asks the students to make a note about new vocabularies in the writing, ask them to repeat after the teacher. The teacher should teach English using two language so that the students understand the topic clearly. Sometimes, it is better to give the students some advices and motivations; so that they can concentrate then they have high motivation in learning practicing English every single day. (3) Significant lexico gramatical features: focus on specific and usually individualized participants, use of material processes, use of relational processes and mental processes, use of temporal conjunctions and temporal circumstances and use of pas tense. The finally paragraf, the teacher give solution, the writer expects that the result of the study will be significant for the teacher finds out the difficulties and

students ability in writing narrative and to encourage the teacher to seek the best solutions to solve the students problems. To the students will be motivated to understand narrative text and the difficulties and than to headmaster will see the narrative writing ability of his students.
