Beware! The schemer is at work

Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour! Pet. 5:8 As at July 24, 2007, 236 homicides had taken place in Philadelphia alone. The current month had seen both the electronic and media, news headlines lamenting the gruesome homicide/suicide involving the entire family of Dr. Petit in Connecticut and the death of the Munis in Laramie. The loss of 30 innocent people at Virginia Tech is still fresh. Also, as at July 23, 2003, over 29,000 sex offenders/predators have registered with myspace.com. Every passing hour, Satan is actively at work, stimulating individuals into either committing suicide or abusing, raping or killing. Through his various manipulative devices; marriages are shattered, churches are turned upside down, schools are ravaged by possessed students and streets are taken over by fraternities and gangs of havoc and blood. Streets are now alleys of horror and even bedrooms are now chambers of fear and uncertainty. Sudan has been thoroughly devastated by a most horrifying carnage and ruthless human abuse. The problems are diverse in nature and intensity, and are evident all over. It is a global network of lawlessness, ruthlessness and most irreversible ungodliness. This, know also that in the last days, perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, murderers, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, high-minded and lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God. II Tim. 3: 1-4. The problem confronting the world is spiritual Satan is diabolically at work inciting human beings into unabated violence and damnable sins to bring as many as he can into eternal condemnation as the end of age is closing in. Unfortunately, the authorities continue to prescribe carnal solutions such as more policemen to patrol the streets, more courts, more jail houses, more cameras and more psychiatric hospitals. Some of the killings, rape, arson or abuses are blamed on pre-meditation, provocation, psychosis, vengeance or drugetc. Whatever reason might be ascribed, there is just one force that is responsible Satan.

Eve was incited to reject the fruit of life for the fruit of knowledge by Satan. David the second King of the United Israel was incited by Satan to carry out a population count against the instruction of God, thereby bringing the sword of God against 70,000 Israelites on a single day. 1 Chr. 21. He was similarly manipulated by Satan to fornicate with the wife of Uriah, killing the husband through the enemys sword to conceal his crime, thereby bringing generational sword and bloodshed over the land of Israel. II Sam 11 & 12. The betrayal of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by Judas Iscariot was prompted by Satan. John 13: 26-27 The Psychiatric patient or rather the demonic man healed by Jesus Christ at Gerasenes in Mark 5: 1-13, was relieved when the Lord commanded out the legion of evil spirits in him. Mary Magdalene known as a prostitute and for her vileness became an evangelist of righteousness when she was cured by Christ of seven demonic spirits in her. The solution to the growing insecurity, abuse, rape, abduction and killing in the environment, is therefore, not in the number of policemen on patrol for except the Lord keep the city, the watchmen waketh but in vain (Psm 127:1)- but in bringing every family unit closer to God. Because the heart of majority are vacuous, only filled by the vanities of the world, such as movies, food menus, physical exercising. Etc. When an unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walked through dry places, seeking rest and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out. And when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there, and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Matt. 12: 43-45 Closeness to God and acceptance of Christ is the key. To escape from all evil, I have the following prescription for you. - Today, accept God Almighty and the Lord Jesus Christ into your life, not through vain lip service, but in total submission through regular worship service, in the church, prayer without ceasing and obedience to His holy commandments. - Let parents be an image of godliness and self discipline because they are the mirror through which their children see the world. - Find time to sit together as a family unit to examine and learn the word of God the Holy Bible - Let the pastors of God concentrate more on preaching the kingdom of God and its righteousness rather than messages of abundance The word of God is forever settled in Heaven (Psam 119:89). If you make the Lord your refuge and the most High your habitation, no evil shall befall you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. The mouth of the righteous God hath spoken it. Psam 91:9-10. But if you ignore God, creating no time to worship Him, you will also be ignored and left unprotected in the day of calamity. Prov. 1:24-33 But whosoever hearkeneth unto me, shall dwell safely and shall be quiet from fear or evil Prov. 1:33

Today I admonish you to accept Jesus Christ into your life, worship and serve God with all your strength, keep His commandments, teach your children the ways of the Lord, and you will be secured from all evils.
