    A vital means of attending to company concerns is through effective internal communication-downward, upward and horizontal. It helps increases job satisfaction, safety, productivity and profits and decreases absenteeism and turnover. Downward communication Communication that flows from one level of group or organization to a lower level is downward communication. It’s used by group leaders and managers to assign goals provide job instructions, inform employees of policies and procedures and points out problems that need attention and offer feedback about performance. Upward communication Upward communication flows to a higher level in the group or organization. It is used to provide feedback to higher-ups, inform them of progress toward goals and relay current problems. Managers relay on upward communication for ideas on how things can be improved. Horizontal communication When communication takes place among members of same work group, among members of work group at same level, among managers at the same level, or among any horizontally equivalent personnel. We describe it as horizontal or lateral communication. It is necessary to save time and facilitate coordination. Effective horizontal communication among peers is essential in order to solve problems, perform job duties, prepare for meetings and cooperate on important projects. External communication Effective communication to people outside the organization can help create a good reputation and have a positive impact on its ultimate success. The right letter, report, proposal, telephone call or personal conversation can win back a disgruntled customer, create a desire for firm’s product or service, help negotiate a profitable sale. Encourage collections, motivate performance, and in general, create goodwill. External communication denotes the exchange of messages and information between an individual and a group or an organization and other organizations, outside the formal communication structure. This type of communication is targeted at facilitating cooperation within groups and individuals like investors, suppliers, and shareholders. AUTHORITY Authority is a manager's formal and legitimate right to make decisions, issue orders, and allocate resources to achieve organizationally desired outcomes. Types of authority (and responsibility)  Line authority Line authority managers have the formal power to direct and control immediate subordinates. The superior issues orders and is responsible for the result—the subordinate obeys and is responsible only for executing the order according to instructions.

Further, understanding and analysis of the businesses of the customers and risks of industry in which the client operates is also a part of the proposals. It also includes evaluation of financial position with detailed analysis of profitability, balance sheet and equity structure, operational and financial efficiency assessment. Maintaining strong liaison with the customer for the timely completion of the legal and procedural formalities relating to extension of credit facilities. Continuous liaison with the customers for post-disbursement monitoring of the relationships, visit of the business place for assessment of operational level of the client and have view of the assets held by the bank as collaterals and identifying new business opportunities. Marketing of new relationships which are beneficial for the Bank with managed risk and its interest being adequately safeguarded.
