Figure 1 shows the mean streamwise velocity profile of
the present DNS compared to the wall laws in a channel FS 3D6

flow: U = y and U = 2.47ln(y) + 5.5. Figure 2 shows the FS 3D2
root mean square of vorticity fluctuations compared with MS 3D6

the DNS results of del Alamo et. al (2005). As can be seen

the present DNS agrees very well with the other references.
