Teachers Day Celebration by Daymond On May 11, SMK Lanang celebrated Teachers Day. The ___________________(1) was celebrated on a modest scale. As usual the day kicked off with the usual ___________________ (2). After singing the national anthem, Negaraku, the teachers were invited to sing Kami Guru Malaysia. All the students ___________________ (3) as teachers sang melodiously on stage.

Next, there were ___________________ (4) from the students. It began with the presentation of a song collaborated by the school Boys Brigade and Girls Brigade. This is then followed by a _________________________ (5) by the performers of our Cultural Dance Troupe. The stage performance was followed by a ___________________ (6) ceremony. The principal was invited to cut the cake along with some senior teachers. After the cake-cutting ceremony, prefects _______________________ (7) the teachers with a cake each. This is then followed by a traditional dance by the performers of our Cultural Dance Troupe. The stage performance was followed by a cake-cutting ceremony.
