1 3.0 3.10 3.11 BILL OF QUANTITY FOR 15M HIGH TOWER DESCRIPTION Safety requirements Allow for safety requirements including safety wear,scaffolding,wcp documentation site signage and safety officer on site during the period of project Preminary & General Provide for insurance cover and performance bond ITEM 15.0 m Tower Foundation Excavate in soft material to remove all top soil maximum depth n.e. 1.5 m in preparation to lay foundation store material on site or cartaway as directed by the engineer Supply lay,and compact approved stone hardcore in layers not exceeding 250mm,to achieve 100% MDD compaction and blinding with approved stone dust to receive disturbed concrete blocks.Allow for watering as necessary during compaction Supply,bend and position high yield steel bars for reinforcing base slab . Y10 bars Supply ,lay compact and vibrate as necessary class 20 concrete for 400mm thick concrete slab for columns . Allow for watering as necessary during compaction. Steel structure Supply and install the following steel members complete with all necessary protective painting, welding fixing provissions & accessories like welds, bolts washers,nuts etc. 100 x 100 x 4 mm angles main columns complete with gusset plates 50 x 50 x 4 mm Angles as diagonal braces 50 x 50 x 4mm Angle for horinzontal braces 65 x 8 mm flat bars for ladders (vertical) complete with base plates 20 mm dia x 400 long mild steel ladder rungs welded to legs 50 x 6 mm mm flat bar for ladder fall protection (circular around ladder) 25 x 3mm CHS balustrade verticals at 1000 c/c 3mm chequered plate for working platform 25 x 3mm CHS hand rail 350 x 350 x 10 mm base and cap plates complete with gussets and bolt holes 600 long x 20 mm dia. achorage bolts complete with welded anchor rods 152 x 89 x 16 Kg/M UB complete with gusset plates and bolt holes 127 x 76 x 13 Kg/M UB complete with gusset plates and bolt holes Supply and install 100000 litre pressed steel tank in 6 mm thick panels complete with internal diagonal and horizontal bacings as necessary all boted with 16mm diameter bolts including provision for testing and disinfecting to approval Total COST FOR TANK AND TOWER SUM UNIT QTY RATE KShs AMOUNT KShs -
