RESERVATION & RELAXATION: 1. For BHEL, CFFP, Haridwar Since the post of Safety Officer at BHEL, CFFP, Haridwar is unreserved, there will no age relaxation to SC, ST, OBC candidates. For BHEL, TP, Jhansi OBC candidate (Non creamy layer) applying for the post of Safety Officer at BHEL Jhansi will be given 3 years age relaxation in upper age limit. Non Creamy Layer under OBC means The gross annual income of parents of the candidate should not be more than 4.5 lakhs in last three consecutive years in line with DOP&T OM No.36033/3/2004-Estt.(Res) dated 14/10/2008. As per clarification by DOP&T vide their O.M dated 14.10.2004, following candidates will fall in OBC creamy layer : i. Wards of parents, either one or both of whom are directly recruited in Class I/Group A posts in Govt. Services or PSUs. ii. Wards of parents, both whom are directly recruited in Class II/Group B posts. iii. Wards of parents, of whom only the husband is directly recruited in Class II/Group B post and he gets into Class I/Group A post at the age of 40 years or earlier Physically challenged candidates will be accorded 10 years age relaxation in the upper age limit. -24. 5. Age relaxation as per Govt. rules will be given to Ex-Serviceman. Relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit is admissible to candidates who were ordinarily domiciled in the state of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 1.1.1980 to 31.12.1989.

REMUNERATION AND OTHER BENEFITS The selected candidates will be placed at the minimum of E1scale of Rs 24900 50500. Besides the Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance, Perks upto 46% of Basic Pay will also be paid. Other allowances and benefits such as Leave, Leave Encashment , Medical facilities for self and family , Performance Related Payment , Companys accommodation or HRA, etc. will be admissible as per Company Rules from time -to-time. HEALTH The applicant should have sound health. Before joining, selected candidates will have to undergo medical examination by the Companys Authorised Medical Officer and the appointment will be subject to meeting the health standards prescribed by the Company. The candidates are advised in their own interest that they should get themselves thoroughly examined by the Competent Medical Officer. The definition of Locomotor Disability, for Physically Challenged candidates under 'The Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995', are as under : Locomotor Disability means minimum 40% of physical defect or deformity which causes an interference with the normal functioning of the bones, muscles and joints. The Physically Challenged candidates are required to furnish duly stamped Medical Certificate in relation to their disability from Government Hospital or Medical Board attached to Special Employment Exchange for the handicap. SELECTION PROCESS If the number of eligible applicants for a post is in the ratio of upto 1:8 to the number of post, only personal interview shall be conducted. However, if the number of eligible candidates for the post exceeds the ratio of 1:8, written test will be conducted and candidates will be invited for Personal interview in the ratio of 1:6 to the number of vacancies in order of merit on the basis of their performance in the written test. The written test and interview will be held at Haridwar. No traveling allowance will be given for appearing in the written test. Candidates invited for personal interview will be paid to and fro sleeper class train fare from the mailing address to Haridwar, by the shortest route, on production of proof of journey. The last date of receipt of applications is 24.03.2012 Candidates should clearly mention in the application form whether they are applying for the post of Safety Officer for BHEL, CFFP, Hardwar or BHEL Jhansi Applications received after the last date will not be entertained. -3EXAMINATION FEES: A crossed demand draft for Rs 250/- for General and OBC candidates in favour of M/s.Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Haridwar and payable at any scheduled bank in Haridwar(preferabely State Bank of India, Ranipur Haridwar, Branch Code No.0586) should be accompanied with the application form without which application shall not be accepted. Candidates should write there name and address on the back side of the demand draft. SC, ST and Physically challenged candidates are exempted from paying Processing fees. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS: Candidates employed in Govt./Semi Govt. Departments/Public Sector Undertakings/Nationalsied banks/ Autonomous Bodies shall be required to apply through proper channel. However, in the event of difficulty, they may send the application directly and produce the relieving order from their organization in the event of selection. The candidates should ensure while applying that they fulfill the eligibility criteria and other requirements and that the particulars furnished by them are correct in all respects. In case, it is detected at any stage of recruitment process that the candidates do not fulfill the eligibility criteria and /or does not comply with other requirements and /or he/she has furnished any incorrect / false information or has suppressed any material fact(s), his / her candidature is liable to be rejected. If any of the above shortcomings is/are detected, even after appointment, his/her services are liable for suitable action including termination and prosecution. For the first five years after date of joining no applications initiated by the selected candidates for Transfer shall be entertained, however on companys requirement these candidates may be transferred to any of the company offices/ divisions anywhere in India or abroad. Candidates, who have left PSU after availing Voluntary Retirement (VR), if selected, will be required to return the VR compensation received to the PSU concerned. Any legal proceedings in respect of any matter of claim or dispute arising out of this advertisement and /or an application in response thereto can be instituted only in Haridwar and Courts/Tribunals / Forums at Haridwar only shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction to try any such cause / dispute.
