Filthy Garments
Isaiah 64:6
For all of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous deeds are like
a filthy garment; and all of us wither like a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.
What does this verses tell us about our clothing and what they represent?
Garments Of Salvation
Isaiah 61:10
I will rejoice greatly in the LORD, My soul will exult in my God; For He has clothed
me with garments of salvation, He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness, As a
bridegroom decks himself with a garland, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
2 Cor. 5:21
He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the
righteousness of God in Him.
Rom 13:14 Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to
gratify the desires of the sinful nature.

king waiting for?

regarding his son’s wedding banquet?
Rev 19:7-9 Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has
come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.
(Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of the saints. Then the angel said to me, "Write:
'Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!'
It was his responsibility to clothe himself thusly, which he failed to do.
If the wedding represents God's kingdom, what kind of people will be part of God's
kingdom according to this story?
The Bible says that God extends an invitation to us.He is knocking at the door waiting for us to
invite him into our lives.
God is that King Eternal. We are God’s children, all of us, both good and bad, for even satan
was a being (child) created by God:
God likens His children going into the eternity (going to Heaven) with a wedding feast. Jesus
Christ is the Husband, and the church (a body of believers in good standing) is the bride. His
friends are to be His bride (spiritually speaking):
Our Heavenly Father gave us to be a bride to the Bridegroom of all bridegrooms, Jesus Christ;
and into Jesus Christ the Father God has entrusted us just as a man marries off his beloved
daughter to a good man to keep care of her.
