MARKET OVERVIEW

Marketing is the process of studying the needs and wants of others and to satisfy that wants and needs will required the quality of goods and services at a very competitive prices offered by various marketing agencies. The potential market for this product is big because it focus on rural farmers. Nowadays, the farmers especially at rural area having problem with chicken drinker. Traditional drinkers need farmer to make daily trips to the spigot to fill up the tank. The existance of this product make a big changes to farmers. The market of this product is growing because the farmers more open minded, so they can see many advantages when using this product.

CONSUMER ANALYSIS

Consumer analysis is an important part of this marketing research. Consumer analysis is the first step of any marketing research. This product price is cheaper than the price offered from other products. This would benefit the buyer because they can save their money. This product also uses high quality materials to ensure it can be used for a long time. Since this product is focused on rural people, so the price offered is cheaper than other products.

INTRODUCTION

Ample Daily Flow is designed to ensure the chicken gets enough water supply. It is designed to supply water automatically with the help of water pressure which will be supplied in 24 hours. No more daily trips to the spigot to fill up the tank. No more worrying about watering the chickens when the farmers busy. This will make the chicken more healthy and produce high quality poultry. Besides that, Ample Daily Flow waterer is fully covered so it can reduce the risk of harmful bacteria infected chicken drink. Other than that, the cover serves to protect the drinking water from dirt. Clear plastic design and clean out plugs make it easy to access the interior for cleaning. Farmers only need to clean the drinking vessels lid to remove dirt such as chicken manure. By using this product, it will ease the burden of farmers because it is easy to use, and the cost of maintaining cheap and easy. It also can save time so that farmers can use that time to manage other things on his farm.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

PRODUCT FEATURES Size the size same product is depend on the size of bottle use to chicken drink. The water flow in 24 hours to provide water to the chicken. It has tube to flow the water from the pvc pipe to Ample Daily Flow.

PRODUCT BENEFIT The product has specialties in supplying water for 24 hours per day. Farmer would not have to refill the water container too many times per day. The product can control the amount of supplying water held for the leverages. Farmers only needs little time to cleaning the water container for leverages.

PACKAGING Packed in the box to avoid damaged goods. Products are sold in a set.

PRICE STRUCTURE 1 unit = RM 12 Buy more 10 unit = RM 10 per unit

Give the low price to the customer buy the product in more quantity. It to maintain the profit of product.

The age of people can be use is 12 above. The location at rural area. The gender is male and female. The product aimed at the rural people.

Secondary Target Market


Expand marketing in Malaysia. Market to all people in other country for example Indonesia, Thailand and other. Use the mass media to promotion of product. It can increase the sale of product and easy to buyers. To get the profit like RM 2000 per months.

Psychographic
Values trustworthy, honest, patient and other. Interests/hobbies person like to like to the animal. Lifestyles simple person. Behaviour interested in something creative.

MARKETING MIXS STRATEGY

Marketing is integral to the success of a business, large or small, with its primary focus on quality, consumer value and customer satisfaction. A strategy commonly utilised is the "Marketing Mix". This tool is made up of four variables known as the "Four P's" of marketing. The marketing mix blends these variables together to produce the results it wants to achieve in its specific target market. The 4 Ps in marketing strategy are:

i. Product strategy ii. Pricing strategy iii. Place strategy iv. Promotion strategy

Product strategy Product strategy is anything that can be offered to a market to satisfy a want or need. So we provide the best quality products to satisfy the customers. We will use high quality material so it will long lasting.

Pricing strategy Price is the any amount of money that customers have to pay while purchasingthe product. More broadly, price is the sum of all the values that consumers exchange for benefits of having or using the productor services. We will give discount for those who buy more than 1 unit of Ample Daily Flow. We also will give special price for our regular customer.

Place strategy Place is in regards to distribution, location and methods of getting the product to the customer. This includes the location of business, shop front, distributors, logistics and the potential use of the internet to sell products directly to consumers. Our location is near the main road, so it very easy to find us. When customer buy our product, we will give them free postage.

Promotion strategy Promotion refers to the act of communicating the benefits and value of product to consumers. It then involves persuading general consumers to become customers of business using methods such as advertising, direct marketing, personal selling and sales promotion. i) Newspapers/magazines Newspaper is a part of medium in transferring information to the residents in our marketplace. So, we will advertise our product including our contact details. ii) Banners We will design and locate our banners at the main locations for example is, at junctions of the roads. iii) Internet We will advertise our product in internet such as at mudah.my. It is more efficient because everyone can access the website and see the advertisement. Other than that, it will reduce our cost because the cost of internet advertising is cheaper.

RECOMMENDATIONS

For recommendations, we will cooperate with Lembaga Pertubuhan Peladang (LPP), for their advice to improve our products because they have more experiences in this field. Besides, we will use them to help promote our products to rural people. They will sent the Extension Officer to rural area. At there, they will try to attract rural people and give them useful information about our product.
