The power of sacrifice Many people talks about God's blessing but they don't know how to make

it work in their lives. They will pray and pray thinking is only prayer which will make it happen, yes prayers and faith play some part but theres something which open the windows of heaven, and that is giving (Mal 3:8 You people are robbing me, your God. And, here you are, asking, "How are we robbing you?" You are robbing me of the offerings and of the ten percent that belongs to me. Mal 3:9 That's why your whole nation is under a curse. Mal 3:10 I am the LORD All-Powerful, and I challenge you to put me to the test. Bring the entire ten percent into the storehouse, so there will be food in my house. Then I will open the windows of heaven and flood you with blessing after blessing). In giving there is some which is called sacrifice. To me sacrifice is a great giving because in the scripture whenever sacrifices is mention it means a living thing has die to God (Gen_8:20 Noah built an altar where he could offer sacrifices to the LORD. Then he offered on the altar one of each kind of animal and bird that could be used for a sacrifice. Gen_22:2 The LORD said, "Go get Isaac, your only son, the one you dearly love! Take him to the land of Moriah, and I will show you a mountain where you must sacrifice him to me on the fires of an altar." Gen_31:54 Jacob killed an animal and offered it as a sacrifice there on the mountain, and he invited his men to eat with him. After the meal they spent the night on the mountain. I know you can see now. So when we talk about sacrifice it is something when we do it affect us so badly (death occurs) but we know whom we have sacrifice to, so we are happy of it. One can't say I want to sacrifice but I don't want it to affect me, that can't call sacrifice (2 Sam 24:22-24 22 "Take it, my lord the king, and use it as you wish," Araunah said to David. "Here are oxen for the burnt offering, and you can use the threshing boards and ox yokes for wood to build a fire on the altar. 23 I will give it all to you, Your Majesty, and may the Lord your God accept your sacrifice." 24 But the king replied to Araunah, "No, I insist on buying it, for I will not present burnt offerings to the Lord my God that have cost me nothing." So David paid him fifty pieces of silver for the threshing floor and the oxen). The power sacrifice 1. it brings God to your door steps to bless (to give you power to become success) 2 Ch 1:6-7 6 There in front of the Tabernacle, Solomon went up to the bronze altar in the Lord's presence and sacrificed 1,000 burnt offerings on it. 7 That night God appeared to Solomon and said, "What do you want? Ask, and I will give it to you!" 2. It make Him to withdraw his curses when sacrifice from pure heart, (2 Sam 24:25 25 David built an altar there to the Lord and sacrificed burnt offerings and peace offerings. And the Lord answered his prayer for the land, and the plague on Israel was stopped). If you want God to visit you it is time to sacrifice to God a great thing which will affect you very much (2 Sam 24:23 I will give it all to you, Your Majesty, and may the Lord your God accept your sacrifice." 24 But the king replied to Araunah, "No, I insist on buying it, for I will not present burnt offerings to the Lord my God that have cost me nothing." So David paid him fifty pieces of silver for the threshing floor and the oxen). When you go to God do give sacrifice, dont do what will not affect you, but rather give what will affect you so much, that is why it is call sacrifice.

If you will you are willing to so, I ask God to appear to you in the name of Jesus Christ.
