Main project features: The $362.6 million Millennium Challenge Compact for
Lesotho focuses on water, health and private sector development. The program is
focused on improving the provision of water supplies for industrial and domestic use,
improving health outcomes and productivity through strengthening the health
infrastructure, and removing barriers to foreign and local private sector investment. The
compact is designed to have a high economic growth impact and its potential impact on
poverty reduction in significant and widespread due to its broad geographical scope.

water supply and sanitation services to an increasing proportion of the community and
manage water resources sustainable.

Main project features: The Gujarat State Highway Project, will build the capacity of
the Government of Gujarat towards effective planning, and management of road
infrastructure, and, in addition, the existing road infrastructure asset utilization will be
maximized, through priority investments, and increased maintenance funding.
Earthquake Emergency Recovery Programme for Gujarat consists of rehabilitation of
roads and bridges damaged during earth quake.
The Kerala State Transport Project aims to improve traffic flow and road safety on
Kerala State's primary road network, and to strengthen the institutional and financial
capacity of Kerala's key transport sector agencies.

Activities performed: As a Procurement and Quantity specialist my job responsibility
broadly involves planning the survey, analysis of survey data received (in MS Excel),
rate analysis, estimation of quantity of all road, drains and CD work related activity,
Preparation of Estimates and Budget, preparation of ICB & NCB procurement of
works in accordance with FIDIC conditions for contractor, preparation of contract
document for the procurement of international and local supervision consultant,
preparation of ToR for supervision consultancy service, making necessary changes in

deciding the man month of key professionals input for the consultancy job and
qualification criteria setting, getting the clearance form the funding agency such as
World Bank for the ToR, bid document and RFP on behalf of the client, attending the
pre-proposal/pre bid meetings for consultancy services and contractor job to clarify
their query and doubts, bid evaluation for both consultancy and contractor jobs,
preparation of bid evaluation report and submission of same to the bank through client
for NOC, preparation of points for negotiation, negotiating with contractor, supplier
and consultants, representing all procurement related issues on behalf of client in front
of World Bank, contractor and consultant During Construction supervision and Quality
Assurance of the same road I was associated as a Quantity Surveyor/Contract Specialist
and use to go to the site for verification of quantity, Quality tests result, levels and
existing conditions on site. Reviewing the Quantity and verification of quality with
respect to the different test results, checking of monthly invoice, preparation of final
Monthly Payment Certificate, finalization of variation and claims, preparation of

Surveyor/Contract Specialist and use to go to the site for verification of quantity,
Quality tests result, levels and existing conditions on site. Reviewing the Quantity and
verification of quality with respect to the different test results, checking of monthly
