Thng c dng khi thay IDU cho Pasolink 7G. Ch , khng p dng cho thit b Pasolink 15 Ghz. lin h vi k s NORTEL bit chi tit thit b no l 7G hoc 15 Ghz. Tool requirement a) Laptop with RS232 COM port available. My tnh c cng RS 232. ( hoc c b chuyn i sang RS232). b) Local Craft Terminal ( for Pasolink) see annex 1. Cp ni my tnh v IDU ( loi c bit, gn ging cp PNMT), xem s u dy ph lc 1. Step Part A A.1 Action Set up Hyper Terminal Ci t cu hnh phn mm Hyper Terminal

Open Hyper terminal. M phn mm Hyper Terminal trong Window XP:

Change DEM invert i v kim tra gi tr DEM Invert. Terminate cable to Pasolink IDU at LA port and other to Laptop RS232 9 pin. Ni cp gia my tnh v IDU cng LA.

Press Ctrl and D at same time The word: Password: appeared and press Enter. And : Change Password? (no:0 / yes:1): input 0 and press Enter. n ng thi 2 phm < CTRL> v <D> trn bn phm my tnh. Dng ch Password xut hin, n Enter. Dng ch Change Password?( no: 0/yes:1), chn 0. ( s khng).

Sellect setting by input 1 and press enter Input 11 and press Enter Mn hnh hin ln cc la chn 1,2,3,99. Chn 1 vo phn Setting. Kim tra mc 11 ( DEM invert) gi tr l (off) ngha l chc nng <DEM invert> ang cha c chn. Ta cn ci t chc nng ny bng cch n 11, enter.

At the DEM invert (off:0/ On : 1) : input 1 to choose it is Invert. Nhp gi tr 1 khi to chc nng DEM invert. n enter.
