All are "in the graves" asleep!

Ezekiel 20: The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the
iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the
righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked
shall be upon him.

21: But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep
all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he
shall not die.

22: All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned
unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.

23: Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and
not that he should return from his ways, and live?

24: But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth
iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth,
shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in
his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them
shall he die.

25: Yet ye say, The way of the LORD is not equal. Hear now, O house of Israel; Is
not my way equal? are not your ways unequal?

26: When a righteous man turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth
iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die.

27: Again, when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath
committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive.

28: Because he considereth, and turneth away from all his transgressions that he
hath committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die.

29: Yet saith the house of Israel, The way of the LORD is not equal. O house of
Israel, are not my ways equal? are not your ways unequal?

30: Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his
ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your
transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.

31: Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and
make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

32: For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD:
wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.

John 5:28 & 29:

28: Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the
graves shall hear his voice,

29: And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life;
and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
I Thessolonions 4:14-18
14
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep
in Jesus will God bring with him.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and
remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of
the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the
clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Deut 30:4 Matt 24:31

18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Isaiah 26:19

Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and
sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth
shall cast out the dead.

Ecclesiates 3:20 20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn
to dust again.

Ecclesiastes 9:5&10 5 For the living know that they shall die: but "the dead know
not any thing", neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is
forgotten.

Ezekiel 37:1-14 & 18:20

1 The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD,
and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,

2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in
the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.

3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord
GOD, thou knowest.

4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry
bones, hear the word of the LORD.

5 Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter
into you, and ye shall live:

6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you
with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am
the LORD.

7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and

behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.

8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin
covered them above: but there was no breath in them.

9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to
the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe
upon these slain, that they may live.

10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they
lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel:
behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for
our parts.

12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my
people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and
bring you into the land of Israel.

13
And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my
people, and brought you up out of your graves,

14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in
your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed
it, saith the LORD.

18:20 20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity
of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the
righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked
shall be upon him.

10 Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work,
nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.

For the living know that they shall die: but "the dead know not any thing",
neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.

Daniel 12:2 2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake,
some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Acts 2:29-36 29
Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is
both "dead and buried", and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.

30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him,
that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ
to sit on his throne;
Ps 132:11 2 Sam 7:12,13

31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was
not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
Ps 16:10
32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the
Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see
and hear.

34 For David "is not" ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord
said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.

Ps 110:1 Matt 22:44 Luke 20:42 1 Cor 15:25 Heb 1:13

36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the
same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

Acts 13:36 36 For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of
God, fell on sleep, (died) and was laid unto his fathers, and(his body) saw
corruption:(decayed)

Hebrews 11:1-40

1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.

3
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so
that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he
obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he
being dead yet speaketh.

5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found,
because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony,
that he pleased God.

6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must
believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear,
prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world,
and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should
after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he
went.

9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling

in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:

10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is
God.

11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was
delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who
had promised.
12 Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the
stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore
innumerable.

13 These all died in faith, "not" "having received the promises, but having seen
them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that
they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

14
For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.

15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out,
they might have had opportunity to have returned.

16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is
not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

17 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received
the promises offered up his only begotten son,

18 Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called:

Gen 21:12 Rom 9:7 Gal 3:16

19 Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence
also he received him in a figure.

20 By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come.

21 By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and
worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff.

22 By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of
Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones.

23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because
they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's
commandment.

24 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of
Pharaoh's daughter;

25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the
pleasures of sin for a season;

26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt:
for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.

27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured,
as seeing him who is invisible.

28 Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that
destroyed the firstborn should touch them.

29 By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians
assaying to do were drowned.

30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven
days.
31 By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she
had received the spies with peace.

32 And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of
Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the
prophets:

33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises,

stopped the mouths of lions.

34 Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness
were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the
aliens.

35 Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not
accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:

36 And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds
and imprisonment:

37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the
sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute,
afflicted, tormented;

38 (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains,
and in dens and caves of the earth.

39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, "received not the
promise":

40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not
be made perfect.

John 3:13 13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from
heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

I Timothy 6:15&16 15 Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and
only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach
unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting.
So be it.

Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and
glory for ever and ever. So be it.
