Pile Driving Pile driving will utilize MHU150S and MHU800S hammer. According to pile drivability analysis (Ref. R79 and R80), P1+P2 is driven by using MHU150S and P1+P2+P3 and P1+P2+P3+P4 is driven by using MHU800S. The pile characteristic, section data (thickness/length), maximum stickup, and hammer usage are summarized in Table 5-17. The expected self-penetration is presented in Table 5-18. The data are extracted from Ref. R79 and R80. The pile driving will be considered to meet the refusal limit when the blow count of 1000 bl/m is reached. HSD Jacket Piles Ref. R79 Section 12.2 described that there is no expected to reach refusal limit under continuous driving conditions for all pile segments. The maximum blow count is 720 bl/m and 745 bl/m for Row-A and Row-B, respectively.

PROVISION OF OFFSHORE TRANSPORTATION AND INSTALLATION OF THE HST AND HSD PLATFORMS AND PIPELINES
Document No.: GEN-S-A-JK-S-PR-0024 Revision No.: G02 Row-A For P3 driving under full setup conditions, hammer energy may be increased to 70% to continue driving from 42.0m to 56.0m depth, resulting in maximum blow count of 424 bl/m. For P4 start of driving under the upper bound restart driving condition, maximum blow count is 310 bl/m. Under full setup condition, refusal may be encountered at the start of driving of P4. Thus, driving of P4 should begin immediately after the end of driving of P3 to avoid full setup conditions. For P4 driving in upper bound restart driving condition, hammer energy can be increased to 60% to continue driving after 70.0 m up to 78.0 m depth, with maximum blow count of 690 bl/m. At 78.0m depth, refusal may be encountered under the upper bound restart driving condition. Thus, driving should be done continuously from 78.0 m to target penetration. Row-B For Row B piles, no refusal is expected under continuous driving conditions, with maximum blow count of 745 bl/m. For P4 driving under lower bound restart driving conditions, hammer energy may be increased to 90% to continue driving from 78.0 m to 83.0 m depth, with maximum blow count of 553 bl/m. Refusal may be encountered at 68.0m depth under the upper bound restart driving condition and at 62.0 m depth under the full setup conditions. Thus, driving of P4 should be done continuously to avoid the risk of refusal under these conditions. HST Jacket Piles Ref. R81 Section 12.2 described that there is no expected to reach refusal limit under continuous driving conditions for all pile segments. The maximum blow count is 720 bc/m and 745 bc/m for Row-A and Row-B, respectively. For P2 and P3 driving, no refusal is expected under all restart driving conditions, with maximum blow count of 710 bl/m. For P4 start of driving under the upper bound restart driving condition, maximum blow count is 875 bl/m. Under full setup conditions, refusal may be encountered at the start of driving of P4. Thus, driving of P4 should begin immediately after the end of driving of P3 to avoid full setup conditions. For P4 driving under upper bound restart driving conditions, refusal may be encountered at 62.0 m depth. Thus, driving should be done continuously from 62.0 m to target penetration. Jacket Intermediate Leveling

During pile installation phase, jacket levelness will be surveyed periodically. In case the level is out of tolerances, first attempt is to modify the pile installation sequences to minimize/compensate the jacket out of verticality. If this does not improve the level, Castoro Otto Superintendent may perform the below intermediate jacket levelling to prevent further out of level development.

Table 5-19 Jacket Intermediate Leveling Sequence

Item 1 2 Activity After surveyed, determine jacket leg(s) to be lifted. Estimate height required to correct the tilt and mark it on the pile. Install cross beam on top of pile at the lifted leg. If required weld stoppers on the other piles in order to prevent piles to slide into the leg while levelling / raising the lowest leg. 3 Set levelling jacks and riggings that connecting cross beam and levelling padeye. NOTE: Shackle body to be pre-installed and secured to the lower eye of sling 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 Recover personnel to Castoro Otto. Activate the levelling jack to obtained required height. (see marking on the pile while operating the levelling tools) Hold and re-survey the jacket level. Confirm the jacket levelness is within tolerances. Weld dog plates between jacket legs and piles. Perform NDT. Recheck the jacket levelness. Detach the levelling tools (cross beam, jack and riggings) from levelling padeye. Cut stoppers (if previously installed), ground flush and 100% MPI. Continue piles driving at the opposite legs Ref. R103 Ref. R122 Remark or Reference

Final Leveling and Crown Plate Installation

If the jacket levels are outside the limits (ref. Section 3.3), jacket leveling will be carried out using the leveling system shown in Ref. R100. Two units 250 t jacks will be used on each of any two jacket legs. The sequence of leveling to achieve the tolerances shall be left to the discretion of the Castoro Otto Superintendent. Table 5-20 Jacket Leveling and Crown Plate Installation
Sequence 1. 2. 3. Main Activity Prepare (grind and 100% MPI/UT) top of jacket legs surface for crown shims welding. Conduct final jacket levelness survey. If the level is out of tolerances, determine jacket leg to be lifted and estimate jack stroke required to correct the tilt and continue to sequence 4 to 7, otherwise continue to sequence 8. Carry out the Jacket reading level check and identify the leg or legs to be lifted. Carry out the marking for the 1 cut off for the installation of the transition pieces. Grind the pile very well starting from the top of leg in order to permit the slipping of the crown plates during the jacket lifting. The seam weld as well has to be grinded off. Grind very well the internal part of the crown plates in order to permit the slipping during the jacking up of the jacket. Smooth the internal upper and lower internal corner of the crown plated. Install the crown plates in order to match the dimension of the deck after the installation of the transition pieces. In the way the pile could be not in the center if the dimension of the deck requires. Put an 2 mm hammered electrode between the pile and the crown plate. By the hammered electrode between the pile and the crown plate we can have a gap 0.5 1.0 mm between the pile and the crown plate. So in this way is minimizing the friction between crown plate pile during jacking up. Weld the bottom and vertical parts of the crown plates installed in the 2 nos legs to be lifted. Install the jacking system of the jacket up to foreseen target. Weld the upper part of the crown plates meanwhile will be installed and welded the crown plates on the remaining 2 nos legs. The crown plates will be installed bearing in mind the dimension of the deck (as per sequence 9). Release and recover the jacking system. Ref. R13, R18 Ref. R100 Ref. R13, R18
