We, the undersigned leaders of patriot groups in the 8th Congressional District, have been active supporters of Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick for years, contributing time, effort, and funds to support this honest civil servant. We have asked the Congressman to protect the best interests of individuals, families, and businesses in his district by refusing to fund ObamaCare. Unfortunately, despite having cast 42 votes supporting symbolic resolutions against the detrimental provisions of this Healthcare Act, Congressman Fitzpatrick has not committed himself to taking a stand against funding ObamaCare in the Continuing Resolution. The failure of our representatives in the House to use their power of the purse strings to delay or stall the burdensome requirements of ObamaCare undermines the people's confidence in their understanding of the harmful impact of this law and their commitment to the welfare of the people. Those of us who have worked to put the Congressman in office because of his firm stand against ObamaCare call on Congressman Fitzpatrick to back up his words with action by voting against any measure that provides funding for ObamaCare. We further ask that Congressman Fitzpatrick make public this commitment to his constituents. We specifically request that Congressman Fitzpatrick promptly sign the letter composed by Rep.
