This notice was originally published on 9 August 2013 and was updated on 16 August 2013 changing the deadline date from 17 September to 26 September 2013. -------------------------------------------The State of Pernambuco has received a financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Pernambuco Sustainable Water Project (Loan 7778- BR), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for of works to Build SURUBIM'S SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM PE. The COMPESA now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for PROCUREMENT OF WORKS TO BUILD SURUBIM'S SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM PE. The Sanitary Sewer System is composed of the following units: Header Network, Pumping Stations, Emissaries and Treatment Plants and the bidders must have experience in this kind of works. The time for completing the works is 03 (three) years. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers ("Procurement Guidelines" - May 2004, Revised October 1, 2006 & May 1, 2010), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines.
