On the instructions from our aforementioned client, we her eby serve the following legal
notice to you:
1. That our client is veritably aggrieved by the highly objectionable, scandalous,
defamatory, concocted and malicious news-report authored, printed, published
and distributed on Friday, 23
rd
August 2013 in the daily newspaper by the
name of 'Hindustan Times' (hereinafter referred to as the 'said Newspaper1
and the contents being posted on the website of the said Newspaper (hereinafter
referred to as the 'said website'). That, You the addressee No.1 are the Editor-
in-Chief of the said Newspaper. You the addressee No,, 2 are the Publisher and
You the addressee No,,3 are the Author/Correspondent of Hindustan Times who
authored the malicious concocted story. That you all are collectively responsible
for day to day affairs and the news that is being printed, published and
distributed vide said Newspaper and the said Website.
2. Our Client is pained by the events of past sometime wherein your said
Newspaper and website has printed, published and distributed malicious news
report (copy attached) against Our client in connection with an alleged 'sex-
tape'. The said story does not at all tell the truth as is being claimed by your
newspaper and the website which claims to be one of the most acclaimed
Newspapers and the website in the country"
3. The news report not only mentions the name of our aforementioned client but
also of his father Late Shrikant Verma eminent poet and politician - and goes
on to blame him for all the maladies that ail Indian Airforce procurements. It is
to mention that as per your own version your entire story which has been so far
