Direct and develop all operational functions including maintaining all complex capital equipment, supporting production schedules, facilities maintenance, required plant relocations, and setting up new production lines. Oversee two engineers and ten employees that report directly. Lead multi-disciplinary teams responsible for creating key business plans, production schedules, contract specifications, building modifications, and budgets. Maintain environment compliance while reducing operating costs and coaching and evaluation environmental professionals. Identify and implement systems to enhance operational quality and sustain crucial safety standards. Spearhead lease negotiations and work cross-functionally with legal team to secure contracts and identify issues. Upgrade equipment, policies and procedures, technology, specifications, and vendor selection to ensure a progressive and upward trajectory in operations production. Reduced CPSF 50% and saved $17M in project costs without interfering with contract deliveries. Consolidated manufacturing space and lowered usage from 1.2Msqf to 650Ksqf. Decreased electrical usage 7%, natural gas consumption 68%, and recycled 80% of all waste despite increased production. Achieved and maintained certification for ISO 14001 (Environmental), 18001 (Safety, Health, and Environmental), and ISO 9000 (Quality), meeting all US Navy contractual requirements, and achieved Safety Maturity Level 5. Passed surprise EPA inspection with zero findings or violations, maintaining ISO 14001 and 18001 certification. Successfully relocated and integrated classified production program ($3M) and large industrial equipment from MN to KY on time and within budget, without a loss of production. Re-designed HVAC and power distribution, and installed epoxy floor system. Achieved 20-year lease at a reduced cost of $13M, enabling company to keep CPSF low and maintain competitive edge. Negotiated pricing and terms for capital equipment ($10M) in compliance with all import and export regulations, allowing company to sustain production levels with improved operational efficiency. Led team responsible for establishing five-year execution plan.
