Stephanie,
Below is an updated version of the e-mail I sent Philip about 9/11 family groups. I have also added info about
some of the major law firms handling 9/11 related cases.
Steve
The Family Steering Committee (FSCi represents 12 individuals, including those from the following groups:
There are four members of this group: Kristin Breitweiser/Mjrjdy KleinbergjLorie Van Auken, and^atty
Cassaza. They live in New Jersey and losl InSlr husbands-dune'
This group focuses on high-rise safety issues. Sally Regenhard, Monica Gabrielle, and Carol Ashley
participate in the Family Steering Committee. They live in New York and lost loved ones in the WTC.
Mary Fetcnet, Beverly Eckert, and Bill Harvey participate in the Family Steering Committee. They live in
Connecticut and New York and lost loved ones in the WTC.
Below are links to some of the other 9/11 families' Web sites:

Founded by Monica Iken, a woman who lost her husband at the WTC, September's Mission supports development of a
memorial park on the former site of the World Trade Center.
Pentagon Angels

Craig Sincock, a soldier whose wife died in the Pentagon attack, established this site for the families of those lost at the
Pentagon, including those who were on American Airlines Flight 77.
Other than Pentagon Angels, the above groups are in New York. Most of them participate in a coalition that lobbies for an
appropriate memorial at the World Trade Center. These groups have generally decided not to get involved in national policy
issues.
911 Families for a Secure America lobbies for immigration reform. (Led by Peter Gadiel.)
Fix the Fund (www.fixthefund.org) wants to increase the payouts from the federal September 11th Victim
Compensation Fund. (Led by Charles Wolfe.)
There is another so-called family group called "9/11 Families United to Bankrupt terrorism." I say "so-called"
because it is a creation of Ron Motley's law firm (formerly Ness Motley but now called Motley Rice, I believe),
which is the lead firm in the lawsuit against Saudis and others accused of funding Al Qaeda. Other lawyers
working with Motley include Allan Gerson and Harry Huge (pronounced You-gee). Other law firms handling
similar suits include Kreindler & Kreindler (Jim Kreindler) and Speiser Krause (Jerry Lear and Ken Nolan). Mary
Schiavo of Baum, Hedlund, Aristei, Guilford & Schiavo is the lead attorney in lawsuits against United Airlines
and American Airlines in cases brought by families of people killed on the planes.
