HISTORY AND DEVELOPMENT


In the year 1926 Makson Group started as a small manually operated in house Confectionery products operated in house Conffectionery products manufacturing unit for local market. Later the founder and Chairman of the Company Mr. Dhanjibhai who is a mechanical engineer visited an exhibition in 1972 at pragati maiden, New Delhi. The chairman of the company Mr. Dhanjibhai was awarded Self made Industrialist . Award in the year 1981 by the vice president of Indill and Ex-officio Chairman of the Rajya Sabha Mr. Hiddyat Ullah. Following this award many other awards such as The National Award For Import Substitution. In the year 1983, Export Award by the Government of Indill He was Also Awarded The LENCO Excellence Award As The Best Industrialist And Philanthropist. WAGES AND SALARY ADMINISTRATION


In Makson wages and salaries distributed for workers and staff on the 7th of each month salary is provided by Cheque the employee can apply for advance on 22nd of preceding month. From the findings of the research it can be concluded that In Makson there are many reasons that an employee is motivated to say in the organization such as the family type of atmosphere good working conditions as well as the support from their colleagues as well as the management staff. But the compensation or the salary paid is not a motivating factor for the employees so this can be looked upon. Report also concludes that the person over the age of 40 are satisfied and wish to stay in the organization because of several reasons such as less mobility and also dependency on the organization due to lack of other skills. But the young technocrats do not prefer to stay for a long time in Makson and the major factor for this is the salary paid.
