Some have asked:

If Jesus said in Matthew 7:21-23: Not everyone who says to Me, LORD, LORD,shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, LORD, LORD have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name? And then I will declare to them, I NEVER KNEW YOU; DEPART FROM ME, you who practice lawlessness! A very clear, stern, firm, demanding and uncompromising warning from our Judge in the last day, that not all religious people will enter His kingdom, not all churches who knows Him and worships Him will be saved, thus understanding these words Where can we find the TRUE CHURCH? Are all the Christ-believing churches the same and secured of their salvation when Christ comes? Who are real and true christians or followers of Christ? Actually, these are very sensitive questions, for just one article to answer. What is needed to understand the answers of these questions are a series of Bible studies and an open heart and mind, letting your soul seek the truthfulness of the Gospel of Christ. Truly, these are dangerous times, where: Convenience to comfortable doctrines or interpretations allures our feelings or emotions BLINDING the truth. Ignorance or not wanting to learn and understand Gods WordHIDING from the truth. Loyalty to religious traditions outside the BibleTRANSGRESSING the truth. And a willful disobediemce to our Fathers instructions and commandsDESTROYING THE TRUTH. These are all easy and tempting ways to follow rather than the stern, firm, difficult, demanding or uncompromising instructions and commands of our Father revealed in the Bible. But you know what?

Jesus said; No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him, and I will raise him at the last daysAnd they shall all be taught by God. Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me. (John 6:44-45) Believers in Christ, it is very important to understand that it is our Father who draws men to the Savior, He draws us closer to His Son to his Church to His Kingdom here on earth, the Church that Christ built (Matthew 16:18) where all baptized believers are added by the Lord daily those who are being saved. (Acts 2:47). Thus, to God our Father we should pray hard and without ceasing and be very sensitive to His leading and guidance through His divine acts in our lives to lead us to Christ to the TRUTH. But how can we discern these different churches nowadays, where all claim to be true. You know what? Our Father gave us a very simple and logical pattern to follow through his Word. Let me put it in this way WHAT IF? We rode a time machine and went back and trace the origin of the first church of Christ. At about 40 days after the death of Christ, after His resurrection, after He ascended to the right hand of the Father and on the day of the feast of the Jewish Pentecost, in Jerusalem some 33 AD, where most of the Jews were gathered for the feast of the temple. (You can read this in the Book of Acts, Chapter 2). There we can see the apostles and Jesus disciplesgathering assembling, with powers from the Holy Spirit as promised by Christ to be the building blocks of the kingdom of God on earth, laid on the Foundation IN CHRIST. Where; earlier before Christ was crucified, He promised to build His Church (Matthew 16:18), where spiritual death has no hold on those who enters His gates. That on the solid-rock testimony of the apostle Peter, proclaiming who Jesus was The Christ, the Son of the Living God (Matthew 16:16). Thus, being pleased with Peter, Jesus said; I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be loosed in heaven and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven (Matthew 16:19). Truly through this prophecy that Jesus spoke as regards to Peter, that on the day of the Pentecost (Acts 2), Peter opened the keys of the kingdom of heaven. That through Peters sermon (Acts

2:14-39) the beginning of the kingdom of God on earth THE CHURCH OF CHRIST. In addition, as spoken by Jesus Himself; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven (Matthew 16:19). This shows how important and significant TRUE Christian congregations are here on earth. And at the end of Peters sermon, he uttered an important secret passage words like open sesame for membership in Christs church, shouting; REPENT and let everyone of you be BAPTIZED (FROM THE Greek word BAPTIZO meaning to immerse, to dip, to plunged in water) in the name of Jesus Christ for the REMISSION OF SINS, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call (ACTS 2:38-39). This was the beginning Then those who gladly received his word were BAPTIZED, and that day about three thousand souls, were added to them, AND THEY CONTINUED STEADFASTLY IN THE APOSTLES DOCTRINE AND FELLOWSHIP, IN THE BREAKING OF THE BREAD AND IN PRAYERS. Then fear came upon every soul and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles (Acts 2:41-42) Now, as clearly as we can visualize in our time machine imagination or much better as clearly as we can read in Gods Word, the Bible. There we can find the TRUE CHURCH OF CHRIST where, the apostles and the first disciples of Christ were the FIRST CHRISTIANS. WHO understands and obeys Gods plan of salvation and the pattern in becoming followers of Christ by: 1. Accepting that we are sinners and in need of salvation. (1John 3:4,8; Romans 10:17) 2. Hearing the pure New Testament gospel of Christ. (Romans 1:16; Romans 10:17) 3. Believing the gospel of Christ . (Hebrews 11:6; Mark16:16; John 8:24; 20:30-31) 4. Confessing that Jesus is the Christ. (Matthew 10:32-33; Acts8:37; Romans 10:9-10) 5. Repenting of our sins. (Acts 2;38; Luke 13:3; Acts 17:30)

Being baptized into Christ. (Mark 16:15-16; Acts 2:38; 22:16; Gal. 3:27; 1PE 3:21) 7. Remaining faithful and obedient until death. (Revelations 2:10) WHO continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrines teachings that are now found and compiled generally in the Bible specifically under the New Testament, from the book of Acts to Revelationinstructions and demands of our Father for our obedience in matters of worship and organization in the Church and from the harmonic Gospels, an eye witness accounts of the life, ministry, death and resurrection of the Messiah from the Gospel of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John showing how Christ fulfilled the prophesies of the Old Testament or Covenant between God and all men IN CHRIST. WHO continued steadfastly in fellowship, teaching, giving, sharing, edifying, loving one another and praising God always speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and SPIRITUAL SONGS, SINGING and MAKING MELODY IN YOUR HEART to the Lord (Ephesians 6:19) worshiping our Father in a solemn way of singing and making melodies in the instrument of their hearts through a cappella or without musical instruments. WHO continued steadfastly in prayers, prayers patterned to the teachings of Christ on how to pray. (Matt, 6:5-15, Luke 11:2-4) All solemn. All simple. All pure. All sanctified. All from the heart unto the Lord. All according to Gods New Testament commands and instructions. We must understand that, although as seen in these first Churches of Christ in Jerusalem, Corinth, Rome, Ephesus etc. They were having some problems in obeying doctrines, church organization, persecutions and many sufferings and trials and are not presented as a perfect New Testament is found in the mind of God and is revealed in the understanding of the whole Bible A compiled revelation of SOUND DOCTRINES (Titus 2:1-15), SOUND INSTRUCTIONS (2Timothy 3:16), SOUND TEACHINGS (Colossians 1:28) and TRADITIONS HANDED DOWN BY THE APOSTLES (2Thessalonians 2;15) to all these churches creating an IDEAL NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH OF CHRIST the true Church were all Christians to model the blueprint, the design or pattern to be distinctively identified with the body of Christ His Church.

6.

The true church today SHOULD BE THE SAME as that in the New Testamentteaching the same plan of salvation, the same process of becoming a member or one with the Body of Christ and principles of Christian living, practicing the same worshipteaching, giving, observing, the Lords supper, praying and singing praises to God, following the same congregational organization elders, deacons, ministers and saints (Philippinas 1:1), without offices and positions unknown to the original Christians and wearing the same name Christians or saints. We must try to be Christians ONLY. We must try to be the same thing religiously as the believers were in the NEW TESTAMENT BIBLICAL TIMES. Sadly, too many alterations, apostasy, modifications, variations, deviations and departures from THE ORIGINAL Apostolic doctrines that had happened since then, generations after generations causing confusions and lack of unity in religion today especially with the believers in Christ. We must truly understand that to achieve UNITY is to follow only what the teaches and disregarding the ideas of men and accepting and doing only what the Bible says. Thus, OUR PLEA The distinctive plea of the churches of Christ is a plea for religious unity based upon the Bible. In a divided religious world, it is believed that THE BIBLE is the only possible common denominator, THE TIE THAT WILL BOND MOST, if not all of God-fearing people in the land to be one IN CHRIST. This is an appeal to back to the Bibleto the simplicity, originality, and purity of New Testament Christianity. It is a plea to SPEAK WHERE THE BIBLE SPEAKS AND REMAIN SILENT WHEN THE BIBLE IS SILENT in all matters that pertain to religion having confidence and faith in the completeness and sufficiency of the wisdom and knowledge of God as revealed to us through the Bible. Members of the churches of Christ do not conceive of themselves as a new church as started near the beginning of the 19th century or in the days of denominationalism or Protestantism. Rather, the churches of Christ PLEADS for A RETURN to that SAME CHURCH which was ORIGINALLY ESTABLISHED on Pentecost, some 33AD Christs original Church. The SAFEST, SECURED, LOGICAL, REASONABLE and RATIONAL WAY to follow

Christ is to follow THE ORIGINAL CHURCH, where ONLY JESUS CHRIST is the founder and not any other mere human establishing denominations today or founding new Christ believing churches. Again and again let us be WARNED by Jesus Christ Himself saying: Not everyone who calls Me, LORD, LORD, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, LORD, LORD, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name? And then I will declare to them, I NEVER KNEW YOU; DEPART FROM ME, you who practice lawlessness! (Matthew 7:21-23) Therefore my friends Our goal must be that Church nothing more, nothing less just basic New Testament Christians as they were in the first century, relying on the perfect plan of God for His IDEAL CHURCH found in the Bible which is absolutely ON SOLID GROUND and knowing if we do just what our Lord commanded, we know that our salvation is certain. Here in the churches of Christ YOU WILL FIND YOURSELF IN THE MIDST OF IMPERFECT PEOPLE WHO DESIRE TO PLEASE A PERFECT SAVIOR IN TRUTH AND IN SPOROT AS COMMANDED IN HIS WORD.
