Taman Sari, known as water castle; this was once a splendid pleasure park of Palace, pool and waterways for the sultan and his entourage. Stroll through the Jalan Malioboro, major shopping street in Jogjakarta. Sidewalks on both sides of the street are crowded with small stalls selling variety of merchandise and Batik. Visit Fort Vredenburg, a fortress built in 1765 by the Dutch during Colonial times, to protect the Dutch governor. Jogja is also home to numerous thousandyear-old temples as inheritances of the great

ancient kingdoms; visits Borobudur temple, the UNESCO Worlds Heritage, and is the biggest Buddhist temple measuring 123 x 123 meters. This Buddhist temple has 1460 relief panels and 504 Buddha effigies in its complex. 3kms eastward of Borobudur are Candi Mendut & Pawon, it is a Buddhist temple, and built in 824AD but architecturally blend of old Javanese Hindu and Indian art. In Mendut you are Insight to Javanese culture and tradition; your Local Tour Guide takes you to visit the Locals in their traditional house and learn their daily way of life. DAY 01: ARRIVING JOGJAKARTA KOTAGEDE BOROBUDUR (D) Welcome to Jogjakarta Explore Kotagede, before continuing drive through the villages view to Manohara Hotel in Borobudur village. DAY 02: BOROBUDUR SUNRISE PAWON JOGJAKARTA CITY (B/L/D) Wake-up at 4:30am and walk pre-dawn stroll through the dewy grass of a lush tropical garden to Borobudur.
