Technologies involved: activex, scripts, XML, DHTML, Servlets, Corba, Visibroker, Jbuilder 2.0, Visual Basic and Visual C++. Designed, developed and provided support for maintaining Windows based financial Applications. Working as a Software Engineer, developed, tested and maintained Windows based document management and retrieval software application. The application indexes various documents and provides an advanced interface to query the index. The application was developed using Microsoft C. As a Software Engineer, developed antivirus solutions using 8086 Assembly language to scan and clean virus-infected files and boot-sectors. Developed utility TSR programs such as memory viewers, program to view status of the loaded executables, etc. Also developed utility programs to install and configure the antivirus products. Project Name 1. XtraVision: Jul 2006 Onwards Team size: 10 Brief Description A medical Re-Engineering application to use a common imaging medical platform. This application assists doctors in Cathlab to have a three dimensional view of blood vessels developed on Windows XP using VC++, C# and .Net Technologies.

Defined project priorities and inter-operability for this project.

Identified different scenarios to be tested with and arrived at the metrics to monitor. Identified Managed Resources, People and Budget. Ensured timely reporting and tracked the project. Built the team and conducted team building activities. Implemented changes to the Organization process.

2. moniQ: Aug 2005 - Jun 2006 Team size: 5

A medical application to enhance serviceability of Nuclear Medicine equipment using a third party service framework. Unix, C, C++, Questra.

Defined metrics for usability, intuitiveness, ease of learning and automation of redundant tasks in the project. A medical application to increase the visibility of stent in cathlab procedures, developed on Windows XP using VC++, C# and .Net Technologies. This application runs on a high-end workstation connected to a Cardiovascular Xray machine, receives the image and creates high definition images. Doctors can work on these images to diagnose a patient.

An xray application to replace an existing image processing pipeline by a new thin framework, developed on Windows 2000 using C#, .Net, and VC++. This project brings down the cost of image processing that is being run on an expensive hardware by performing the same operations on an off-the-shelf image processing card.


5. FSF: Apr 2003 - Apr 2005 Team size: 4

Managed People, Hardware and Software resources. Built and developed the team by conducting team building activities.

Coached, mentored and led the team to complete the project within time and scope. Defined project processes and trained people on these processes.

FSF, Field Service Framework is a medical application to provide a framework for remote administration of medical equipment installed at a Hospital, developed on Windows platform using VC++ and COM.

7. Foli: Aug 2002 May 2003 Team size: 3

Foli, an Offline Service Helper is a medical software application to emulate service engineer screens of xray equipments at the remote service centre, developed on Windows XP using C#, .Net and VC++.

Estimated for the project and prepared Project Plan. Managed Resources, People and Budget. Monitored, controlled and executed the project. Ensured timely reporting to senior management.

8. 3DRA: Apr 2001 - Jul 2004 Team size: 8

3DRA, 3D Rotational Angiography is a medical application to assist doctors in diagnosing a cardiovascular patient before a cathlab procedure. Three versions of the application were developed on Windows 2000 using VC++.

Interacted with the customer to understand the requirements. Built the team and mentored them. Controlled the project by adjusting scope and human resources.

GSM OMC is a project providing life cycle management support for a telecommunications software used at a cell phone networks base station. The working environment being C and C++ on Unix.

Performed as on-site coordinator at client site. Interacted with team members to understand and serve their needs. Ensured timely reporting to senior management.

This distributed Business-2-Business application brings together Television Channels and Advertisement agencies for an efficient, fast and convenient method of booking advertisement spots. Application was developed in Java and html on Windows.

Planned and tracked the project to completion. Managed people and resources. Gathered Requirements for the project and documented it. Ensured process deployment and trained the people.

11. FundA:

Web based fund management application for financial product. This product was used by portfolio managers of State Street Bank, a financial firm serving institutional investors. This client service application was developed using Activex, XML, Servlets, Corba, Visibroker, JBuilder 2.0, Visual Basic and Visual C++.

12. Mystery:

Mystery is a web based monitoring application. Using this application, fund managers view data logged by other proprietary applications. Developed on Windows NT using VC++ and FrontPage.

13. AWExpInq:

AWExpInq, Audit Workstation Exception Inquiry is an application that helps fund managers to view and act on alerts raised by the fund monitoring rules. User can browse and review the results of the exception report using various display options and filters. Developed on Windows 3.1 using Borland C++, Tolos.h++ and Sybase.

Designed, implemented and tested the application. Handled support activities for this project.

AWRules, Audit Workstation Rules maintenance application is used by fund managers to define rules to manage funds. These rules trigger alerts to fund managers when the performance of a fund goes beyond set boundary conditions. Developed on windows 3.1 using Borland C++ 3.1, SYBASE.

15. Sift n Search:

Windows based document management and retrieval system. The application takes different documents as input and creates an index. The user can query the system for documents using advanced search criteria such as wildcards and range. The application was developed using Microsoft C 6.0 on Windows 3.1.

16. Knoxcard
