TASK 2 1. Search and get information of the best design of SOP. a) Describe what information included in the SOP A Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) is a certain type of document that describes in a step-by-step outline form how to perform a particular task or operation. Everyone in a company must follow the same procedures to assure that tasks are performed consistently and correctly. Most companies have a wide variety of SOPs that describe how to do different tasks. In many companies technicians and operators are trained in how to follow individual SOPs and their training record specifies which SOPs they are trained on and are authorized to use.
b) The advantages of using SOP This manual lists the all the tasks that are essential for your business success, how to do these tasks, and who is responsible for the tasks listed. The advantages are listed below. Reduced learning curve/training time for new employees Ensured business continuity Standardized processes Delegating tasks becomes a no-brainer Ensure that your clients are getting the best possible experience with you
2. Construct the SOP related to your product. The acrylic line bending involves 6 steps. Firstly material acquisition. It is a material requisition form lists the items to be picked from inventory and used in the production process or in the provision of a service to a customer. Follow by material inspection. We will select and use materials that are appropriate for the intended use. Upon receipt, materials must be examined by for compliance with the requirements of the code material specifications. Then we doing cutting process and wiring process. Finally product assembly and packing.
