GROUP 4 BSWU For the case BSWU, the following things are to be done for the project and presentation:

Start the report with a brief introduction to the case in nut shell what the case is related to (in 1 paragraph present the case synopsis). Examine and analyze the economic and political changes that have resulted in strong independent unionism in India, and the consequence of those factors at national, regional, or plant levels. Analyze the conditions (internal and external) which prevailed during the formative phase of union (BSWU). Analyze the opportunities and threats which were present during the formative phase. Analyze the union organizing efforts and the state of intra-union solidarity. Examine and evaluate the creative pressure tactics used by the union from time to time in its history of struggle with management. Why did unions like BSWU / AIBEF join larger federation and association in later 80s? Is there any difference in the alliance formation process between old and new sector in India? All the questions are to be answered in points and succinctly.

GROUP 5 TRIUMPH LTD. For the case Triumph Ltd., the following things are to be done for the project and report:

What was the main issue of the conflict? What are the major reasons for the conflict? Why the apparent performance of the organization did not appear to suffer?

What is the reference orders question in the case that the higher court (to which the writ petition was file) is going to address? What are the major questions to be answered by the higher court in this case? What would have the higher court decided (verdict) on the writ petition filed by the employer? What would be rationale (legal) that might have been used for arriving at the final verdict by the higher court?

The group no. 8 need not at all describe the case (case facts). However, if they want they can at max come with one paragraph (with only 4-5 points) providing the synopsis of the case.

GROUP 9 QUALITY TEXTILE For the case (Group 9), you have following things to do for your project and report:
