SULREME LOWER
COURSE

DUS to a fortunate series of circumstances, the "Supreme Power Course”
(a Course of 22 Lessons) by Dr. Murdo MacDonald-Bayne, has come to light
and is nov being made available to the public in its original form.
Without the personal efforts of those involved, it is very likely that
the Course would have been relegated to obscurity with the passing of time.
A few years ago, Mrs. Dora Birkhead, of England, first brought the
Course to the attention of Mr. Ernest Wild, a spiritual healer residing in
Shipley, West Yorks, England, and provided him with a copy of the original
which was in her possession. Her brother, Mr. J. H. Sharples, had aleo made
@ personal copy by hand, 6o between then it was possible to {111 in a few of
the worn and missing pages.
Mc, Wild submitted this unknown work to Mr. Nagle, publisher, of L.¥.
Fowler & Co, Ltd., and requested his opinion of it.
Eventually, Mr. Wagle in turn kindly forvarded a photocopy of the Course
to me in Canadas, expressing his reservations with regard to « reprint on an
“as 4e" basis, However, I felt 1t would indeed be most interesting to present
the Lessons as an example of Dr. KacDonald-Bayne's earlier work, giving us an
added glimpse of other facets of his teachings.
With the help of these people and a few others, it 1s possible to present
the Course almost intact. Mention mat be made of certain lessons which omit
the section on Questions, Unfortunately, to date, these specific pages are
unavailable.
It 48 my sincere hope that earnest readers vill derive new inspiration
and greater insight into the importance of human development along natural
lines, with unison on aZi levels - physical, nental and spiritual.
Ultimately, @ harmonious balance of forces vithin and without must be
achieved, By pationt progress, broader understanding, and a deep knoving,
one can learn to touch upon the unity of all itfe, for "we live and move
and have our being in Hin.”
