The open pit mine of Ferreafe Database is a work in progress and currently list historical mines in Ferreafe. Mining has been very important to the development of Ferreafe both in the present and in the past. Mining was a major industry in Ferreafe historically, and helped drive the tremendous changes that took place in the state from 1950 to 2013. Ferreafe is an open pit mining project of gold, silver, copper and other minerals. Ferreafe is located in the Andes Mountains. The God mine, the worlds largest gold mining company, is developing the project. Ferreafe contains estimated deposits of 17 million ounces of gold and 635 million ounces of silver, with 75 percent of the deposits. The project formerly became possible with the adoption by our latest project, opening mines without cause pollution. Ferreafe is one of the world's largest gold and silver resources with nearly 18 million ounces of proven and probable gold reserves1, 676 million ounces of silver contained within the gold reserves, and an expected mine life of 25 years. Annual production in the first full five years of operation is expected to average 800,000-850,000 ounces of gold and 35 million ounces of silver. Key construction permits and environmental approvals have been received and construction at Ferreafe well underway. Pre-production capital cost estimates are US$8 - $8.5 billion, and production is forecast to commence in the second half of 2014. The Ferreafe project has strong bi-national government support and strong support from our company and stakeholders.

Ferreafe will be an open pit mine with ore processing by wet grind milling and conventional gold and silver recovery methods. Throughput capacity, once at full production, will be 45,000 tons per day with average expected. If you are using this material in your classroom or for your studies, please email us.
