Cover: Photovoltaic (PV) vision glass substitutes a thin-film, semi-transparent photovoltaic panel for the exterior glass panel in an otherwise traditional double-pane glass window or skylight. The technology, while available in Europe, is currently being developed as part of a United States Department of Energy PV-BONUS project. On the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay campus, the system, rated at about 11 kW, substitutes Building Integrated Photovoltaic vision glass for traditional windows in a Wintergarden of the new classroom building. This system will span 2,000 square feet and generate about 12,500 kWh annually. The "PV Glass" unit will be manufactured by Viracon, Inc. using BP Solar MST-43LV 43-watt, thin-film photovoltaic modules and installed in a standard Kawneer Company 1600 PowerWall (TM). In this application, BP-Solarex will laser-etch their photovoltaic module to create a desired transmittance for the Wintergarden. Two hundred and fifty-two modules will be installed.

The listing is not comprehensive, nor does listing a company or organization imply a recommendation or endorsement by the Wisconsin Energy Division. This edition adds new listings to the fifteenth update of the Yellow Pages since February 1992. It includes over 300 entries and 300 organizations, and uses new and more consistent categories.
