The ASKO story is a good one. It started back in 1950 in Vara, Sweden, with an innovative young mans dream to build a washing machine for his mother to suit her every need. A unique, energy, and water efficient machine that would reflect a farmers love for nature. One with superior cleaning performance and reliability that could heat water, spin, and even boast durable, state-of-the-art stainless steel drums. A washing machine that would surpass even his meticulous mothers high standards. So he built a world-class facility right on the family farm, where it still stands today and ASKO was born. Since 1999 ASKO factories have achieved environmental certification in accordance with ISO14001 Environmental Management System, which means everything is done as environmentally friendly as possible. One small, but important example of this environmentally friendly approach is that all components in our laundry appliances and dishwashers that weigh more than 50 grams are labelled for recycling. This is just one illustration of our holistic commitment to the environment - for us its not just about how much we use, but how little we waste in our production process, while our products are in use, and even when they are disposed. Its where birthday cakes of childhood memories come from. Where Sunday roasts with the family are cooked. Where souffls are nervously baked. Today, the oven remains the centrepiece of every kitchen. Thats why weve developed a range of ovens to suit your kitchen, and your life.
PROFESSIONAL COOKING ASSISTANCE * You decide how and to what extent your oven assists you in your cooking; you can choose between three different modes. 1. INDIVIDUAL COOKING: Individual Cooking is perfect for those who like to be in total control in the kitchen. You choose the cooking method, the temperature, and the time. Cooking methods include Fan Forced, Conventional, Top and Bottom Grill and even Keep Warm. 2. COACH COOKING: For those times when you need a little help in the kitchen you can turn to Coach Cooking. There are 39 pre-programmed cooking choices catering for different foodtypes and meals, like red meat, poultry, fish, and even cakes. Select the food group and enter the weight of the item. The oven works out the most suitable cooking method, the ideal temperature, and optimum cooking time. 3. AUTO COOKING: The Auto Cooking mode takes the guesswork (and stress) out of cooking. With 12 pre-programmed meal types including pizza, roast beef, and even souffls, simply choose the dish you want to cook and the oven does the rest. Special sensors determine the moisture level and calculate the precise cooking time for a perfect result. PYROLYTIC self CLEANING Our ovens clean themselves. They have two pyrolytic cycles that heat up to 500C, literally burning away splattered fats and cooking residue. Once finished, all you have to do is wipe the oven clean. Theres no need for harsh cleaning chemicals. While the pyrolytic cycle is running, the oven door automatically locks and quadruple glazing keeps the heat in, and the oven door cool for safety. CHILD-SAFE Our models are fitted with the best solutions to prevent children from burning themselves, such as oven doors with four-layer glass, and KidLock. Our induction cooktops immediately cool off after being switched off, which prevents little fingers from getting burnt. ODOUR CONTROL Odour control is a smart and practical feature when the kitchen often borders the living room.

A-rated Energy Australia doesnt have an energy standard for ovens yet, but that doesnt stop us from having the most efficient units possible. All our 60cm conventional ovens feature an A rating for energy based on European Standards. FAN FORCED The powerful fan forced element combined with good insulation, provides an even temperature which in turn ensures that cakes and buns are baked evenly. You can also cook and bake on three levels at the same time.

STEAM COOKING Steam cooking is the healthiest way to cook. It preserves all the natural vitamins and nutrients as well as the true taste, colour, and texture of the food. Our steam oven has a defrost and steam function, and allows simultaneous cooking of meat, fish, and vegetables with no risk of overcooking. A steam oven is a great addition to your kitchen that allows you to cook with care. You can also use your steamer to defrost. MICROWAVE/ COMBINATION COOKING Our combination oven gives you ultimate flexibility in the kitchen with 3 different cooking methods - traditional cooking

(fan forced and other programs), microwave, or a combination of microwave and traditional methods. This last option can save you valuable time by speeding up the traditional cooking method. You get an excellent cooking result in a fraction of the normal time. MICROWAVE COOKING Lets face it, a microwave oven is an essential part of our busy lifestyle. For most of us, its great for heating up leftovers or a quick cuppa. An ASKO microwave is capable of so much more. With 9 auto programs, and 3 defrost programs, our microwave oven will be as helpful as a second set of hands in the kitchen.

WARMING DRAWER To preserve the true flavour and experience, hot meals should always be served on hot plates. The ASKO warming drawer works with any of our ovens to ensure you serve restaurant quality meals. When youre not cooking, they double as extra storage space for even your largest trays.

Think outside the square

Great cooking is all about great planning, and that applies to your kitchen appliances too. Position your ovens where theyll work best for you, particularly if youre a busy entertainer and need big oven capacity. Consider a conventional and a combination oven. Have the microwave close by and use its full potential. For ultimate flexibility, try two 60cm ovens instead. Perhaps a pyrolytic oven for cooking meats and poultry that may require more frequent cleaning, and a conventional oven for baking.

In most kitchens, the cooktop sees a lot of the action. From early morning breakfast, to late night snacks, the cooktop is in constant use. It needs to be fast, efficient, and easy to maintain. ASKOs range of induction, ceramic, and gas cooktops offer freedom and flexibility in the kitchen. So whether youre cooking scrambled eggs, or a slow simmering risotto, ASKOs cooktops make it a piece of cake.
INDUCTION cooktops Induction cooktops are changing the way people cook. Using magnetic fields to generate heat, they are the fastest of all cooktop types and offer instant, to-theexact-degree heat control for precise cooking. Induction cooktops are becoming more and more popular in Australia. They work quite differently to conventional electric or gas cooktops. Induction cooktops use magnetic fields to transfer heat directly onto your pot. All the source energy is supplied to the pot so, its almost like the pot is doing the cooking. With conventional electrical or gas cooktops, the energy is first converted to heat and only then directed to the pot with much of that heat going to waste. AUTO POT SENsing All our induction cooktops feature auto pot sensing technology, which senses the size of your pot, and adjusts the transfer of heat precisely for fast, balanced heat while reducing energy usage. With 12 power settings, including booster on all zones, youll have total control over your cooking. Our 80cm model also has a handy resting zone. mind, including residual heat indication, a child-safe control panel, as well as auto stop after 10 hours, and a temperature limiter in the event of boil dry (just in case you forget and leave the cooktop on!) Ceramic cooktops If youre not quite ready for induction but love the look and easy cleaning of the flat surface, then our ceramic cooktops are the answer. Both the 60cm and 75cm models have four fully adjustable cooking zones so you can extend the cooking areas. Each zone utilises infrared halogen technology to deliver fast heat with great temperature control. The completely flat surface and a spillage area of 0.6 litres makes cleaning easy. Beutiful and simple to USE Our induction cooktops are smart, but theyre also beautiful. The flat glass surface provides a minimalist, designer look thats also highly practical. ASKOs gas cooktops feature one piece directional burners for perfect flame control. Our unique A+ burner design uses directional holes to make sure the flame arcs directly under your pot. This provides true heat closer to the centre for faster heating and better temperature control. Our special simmer burner provides even greater control for delicate cooking tasks like melting dark chocolate, or preparing a hollandaise sauce. Our gas cooktops also saves gas.

Playing it safe All of ASKOs gas cooktops have child proof controls as well as an Auto Cut function if the gas supply is interrupted. Our burners are coated in special Keradur enamel which is easy to clean. Our trivets are single piece and made out of smooth cast iron for fast cleaning. Simply put them in the dishwasher

and they will come out like new. Our gas cooktops are sleek with a distinctive contemporary edge. Beautifully balanced with stainless steel, cast iron, and a super tough construction presented with simple elegance.

Wok it to the left Ever wondered why most cooktops have the wok burner in the middle, hogging all the space and making it hard to use the other burners? We did. ASKOs rangehoods are ideal for open plan living. Different styles for different tastes, and kitchen types. Minimalist design with no obtrusive buttons or dials. Powerful air and whisper quiet operation. With ASKOs rangehoods, the only thing lingering after a big dinner party will be the smiles on the faces of your contented guests.
Clearing the air All our rangehoods will extract 650m h of air. Our concealed model CC4840 features an even more powerful extraction rate of 760m h. Our rangehoods have various speed settings for flexible air extraction, so you use the force you require for different types of cooking. This includes a boost function when you need to remove big food smells or fumes for a short period of time, like when frying fish. Our rangehoods tell you when the filters need cleaning or replacing, to ensure long life and maximum performance.

Slide Out Our slide out rangehood models feature 3 flexible speed settings and Turbo Boost as well as front mounted controls for ease of use and cleaning. They also feature insulated motors and a clean air function.

We build dishwashers with many outstanding features. Its a Scandinavian thing. Were always asking ourselves how we can make something better. How we can make life easier for you. Continuous improvement is in our DNA, and it lives in every ASKO machine. Thats how our dishwashers evolved to become the most advanced form of their species. With a choice of models to suit any style of kitchen, or if you want to upgrade your dishwasher, ASKO has a model to suit your needs.

Super Cleaning System+ SCS+ is a patented jet system that blasts off food particles, channels them to a central drain, then cleans the fine filter and all the interior surfaces prior to the main wash. This means you never have to pre-rinse your dishes. SCS+ saves water, saves energy, and reduces wash times. Status Light At the bottom right hand corner of our new generation dishwashers, we have placed a light that makes life a whole lot easier for you. This light communicates with you using three different colours to tell you what the machine is doing. If the light is: BLUE The program has started but you can still add more to your load (No detergent in the machine). RED It is recommended not to add anything to your load. Fault indicator flashing red light. This happens when there is a water inlet fault, an inlet valve leakage or overfilling and water outlet fault. GREEN You can unload your dishwasher, the program has finished. The light will be on standby for 2 hours. Turbo Drying Many dishwashers do not remove steam after washing, so dishes take much longer to dry. ASKOs Turbo Drying rapidly extracts condensation after the final wash, so everything dries faster using less energy.

Turbo Drying Express

Stainless Steel ASKO dishwashers have a sleek stainless steel outer, but did you know that nearly everything on the inside is stainless steel as well? Our filters, rollers, and spray arms are all stainless steel, which not only lasts much longer than plastic, but its more hygienic as well. Leak-proof To eliminate the risk of flooding in the kitchen we have developed AquaSafe, an advanced water safety system encompassing up to 16 different points, all of which help to ensure a leak-safe dishwasher. Turbo Drying Express Turbo Drying Express complements Turbo Drying by pumping hot air into the dishwasher, shortening program times by around 30 minutes. It even makes light work of plastic plates and feeding bottles.

10 spray zones Most brands of dishwashers only have 6 spray zones. ASKO dishwashers have up to 10 with three special power zones that targets specific areas likely to have food build up including the cutlery basket, the pots and pans area, and the middle basket region.*

While our XXL models have an outside height of 86cm, and a whopping loading height of 58cm, giving you one of the largest capacities on the market. Saves up to 62% electrical energy!

We all know that dishwashers need hot water so it seems crazy not to use the hot water that we have at home. Especially when you have an environmentally friendly, economical source of hot water, such as district heating, solar panels, or a heat pump. This way you are using hot water thats already there, and the machine doesnt need to use as much energy to heat the water.

A smart choice By using a hot water connection you save as much as up to 20 minutes and up to 62% of the dishwashers electrical energy consumption. How does it work? All our dishwashers are ECO models and can be connected to either hot or cold water. The recommended hot water inlet is 60C but it can be connected with up to 70C. When you choose a program with a higher temperature than the incoming water, the dishwasher heats it to the chosen temperature.

A lot of dishwashers simply expect everything to fit, regardless of what youre trying to wash. Unfortunately, real life requires a better solution. Thats why we created our unique Flexiracks system that allow you to stack more into every wash. Our dishwashers come with three basket options to suit your style of living.

Standard Standard is a two basket system that offers easy loading and unloading. The upper basket is extra high so you get better support for tall glasses. It comes with a height adjustable wine glass shelf and fixed glass support. There is also a knife stand and knife stop for added safety. Premium Premium offers all the advantages of standard plus much more. It comes with a raised handle at the front for easy pullout and finer mesh than the standard basket for better support of smaller items. The rear plate holders fold down, giving you more flexibility for washing larger items. You also get two additional fold down wine glass shelves with glass support. Exclusive Unique to ASKO, exclusive is our flexible four level basket system. The lower basket is extra high for excellent stability and the back row of plate holders fold down to make room for large or awkward shaped items. The upper basket also features fold down plate holders for added flexibility and comes with a china guard. Two foldable glass supports make room for five rows of glasses. How does it work? The ECO washer has two water inlet connections instead of just one: one for hot and one for cold water. Some dryers are more caring than others

ASKO dryers have everything you want like delayed start, airing program, KidSafe lock, and double lint filters. They even care enough to switch off when your clothes are dry, saving energy, and reducing wear and tear on your favourite clothes.

dry your clothes with butterflies When we wanted to build a better dryer, we looked to mother nature for inspiration. ASKOs Butterfly Drying tumbles in a figure eight, just like a pair of butterfly wings. This gentle, non-stop motion prevents clothes from bundling, which eliminates creases and results in faster drying times. Other dryers use a reversing process which takes quite a toll both on the motor and the drive belt. So Butterfly Drying is better for your clothes, and better for the environment.

Drying programs that just make sense Some dryers expect you to guess the amount of time required to dry your clothes, inevitably resulting in overdrying, shrinkage and wear. ASKOs Sensidry sensors monitor the moisture content of your clothes and can switch off the machine when your clothes are dry. This protects your clothes and reduces energy consumption. Sensidry even allows you to control the level of moisture you want remaining. The Iron Dry setting, for instance, will leave a little bit of moisture to make your shirts easier to iron. Now, thats handy.

More than just hot air Heat is not the only thing that dries your clothes. Drum size plays a big part too. ASKO dryers have a huge 111 litre drum - up to 50% larger, than many other clothes dryers. This allows more air to circulate. Its a bit like hanging you clothes on the line when its a windy day. More moving air gives a faster dry.
