Themonitoringscheduledependsonthestudentsriskcategory.WithDIBELSNext,highriskstudentsaretypically monitoredeveryweekandsomeriskstudentsaremonitoredeverytwoweeks.TheProgressMonitoringsuggestions mayvaryfromdistricttodistrictcontactyourinstitutionsadministratorsformoreinformation.

    OfflineWebAssessment
    1.AfteryoucreatethemCLASS:DIBELSNextshortcut,tapitonyourdevice'sHomescreen.Ifyouareprompted tologin,enteryourusernameandpassword. 2.FromtheApplicationSelectionScreen,tapDIBELSNext. 3.TheClassListdisplays.Tapanystudent'snametogototheStudentFile.

    4.OntheStudentFile,tapProgressMonitoring.

    5.TheProgressMonitoringpageforthestudentdisplays.RecommendedmeasuresappearintheAssessmentlist, andyoucanseeallthestudent'sscoresforthatassessment.TaptheAssessmentlisttoseeothermeasures. Toswitchtoadifferentmeasure,selectit(thentapDoneoniOSdevices).

    6.TapAssesstobegin. 7.AfterselectingaDIBELSNextmeasure,theProgressMonitoringFormSelectionscreenappears.EachDIBELS Nextmeasurehas20psychometricallyequivalentassessmentformstomonitorprogress.Selectanunusedform forassessment.Aformwithatallymarkindicatesthestudentalreadycompletedit.Consideradministeringa formthestudenthasnotyetseen.

    Ifyouneedtoassessastudentatadifferentgradelevel,taptheOutofgradeformsboxandselectaform fromthegradethatbestreflectsthestudent'sskilllevel.

    PalmandAceecaDevices
    1.FromtheClassList,taptheProgressMonitoringcellforanystudentintheClassList.Ifyoucannotfindthe student,selectadifferentclassfromthelistabovethestudentnames.

    2.TheStudentFileProgressMonitoringtabopenstoshowtheresultsforcompletedProgressMonitoring assessments.ItalsoshowstheProgressMonitoringrecommendationfortheselectedmeasure.TaptheGraph toviewtheProgressMonitoringGraph.SelecttheProgressMonitoringmeasureyouwanttoassessfromthelist

    atthetopofthescreenandtapStarttobegin.

    3.AfterselectingaDIBELSNextmeasure,theProgressMonitoringFormSelectionscreenappears.EachDIBELS Nextmeasurehas20psychometricallyequivalentassessmentformstomonitorprogress.Selectanunusedform forassessment.Aformwithatallymarkindicatesthestudentalreadycompletedit.Consideradministeringa formthestudenthasnotyetseen.

    Ifyouneedtoassessastudentatanothergradelevel,taptheOutofgradeformsboxandselectaformand gradeappropriateforthestudent'sassessment.
