Manhole Inspection: TREKKs inspection crews utilize laptops for direct entry of manhole information into an ACCESS database. For visual pipe inspections, crews have the capability of using a specialized camera system that allows viewing up to 200 ft of incoming and outgoing pipes within a manhole, depending upon the alignment of the sewer line. Additionally, our crews are OSHA 10 Hour certified, and trained for confined space entry. Smoke Testing: TREKK has the capability of collecting global positioning system (GPS) coordinates of smoke sources and integrating them into a GIS-based deliverable. Each positively identified source is photographically documented and precisely located using GPS technology. The GPS units ensure that all defect sources are referenced to allow for efficient repair. Dyed Water Testing: Because TREKK owns and operates our own Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) trucks, our crews have the unique ability to dye test simultaneously with CCTV inspection to quickly verify and pinpoint suspect I/I sources. CCTV Inspection: TREKK has the most technological advanced trucks on the market today. All of TREKKs CCTV trucks are equipped with service lateral launch cameras capable of providing a service inspection from the main line. All TREKK CCTV inspections are completed by a NASSCO certified Pipeline Assessment and Certification Program (PACP) operator.
