From Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport

There is no direct connection between the airport and NCU. You may take a bus, taxi, or drive a car to reach us.

Taxis:
Taxis queue outside the Arrival Halls of both terminals; a normal fare charges by meter plus a 50% surcharge (approx. NT$800~1000).

Buses:
Taoyuan Bus Corporation operates bus No.5089 running between Jhongli Train Station and the airport. The bus waits by the bus platform outside the Arrival Halls of both terminals. Cars:
To Jhongli, take the Taoyuan Inner Circle to go on Freeway No.1, and then exit at Xinwu Interchange (62 km). Follow the direction sign to Xinwu, make a right turn on Sanmin Rd, turn left on Jhongjheng Rd., and within 3 minutes you will reach Jhongda Rd. to the main gate. TOP

By Car Freeway No.1 (Sun Yat-sen Freeway):

To Jhongli, exit at Xinwu Interchange (62 km). Follow the direction sign to Xinwu, make a right turn on Sanmin Rd, turn left on Jhongjheng Rd., and within 3 minutes you will reach Jhongda Rd. to the main gate.

Freeway No.3 (Formosan Freeway):

After exiting at Dasi Interchange (62 km), use Provincial Highway No.66 (direction: Guanyin) to connect to Freeway No.1. Then follow the instructions above to reach NCU.

By Train Taiwan Railways Administration:

Get off at Jhongli Train Station. Take the city bus No.132 or 133, or taxi (NT$200~250).

Taiwan High Speed Rail:

Get off at THSR Taoyuan Station. To reach NCU, there are several bus routes to choose from: direct lines are the quickest, but not many of them; other buses head for Jhongli City, where a transfer is needed. Other options include driving a car or take a taxi. Specific details are as follows:

Direct bus:
Bus No.132 (Taoyuan Bus Corp.) and No.172 (Jhongli Bus Corp.) connect Jhongli City and THSR Taoyuan Station via NCU. Bus leaves at bus platform 8 (Exit 5); to reach the campus, it takes 15~20 minutes. Fare: NT$18. Bus arrives through NCU Front Gate, then stopping in turn at "Front Gate Security Office", "Zhi-xi Hall", "Yi-ren Hall", "Rear Gate (by female dorms)", and "Panorama (by Monument)" before heading for downtown. City bus:
Jhongli Bus Corp.: Bus No.170 offers a free ride to Jhongli downtown. Get off at the terminal station and change to Bus No.132 or No.133. Taoyuan Bus Corp.:Bus No.171 , No.5087 and No.5089 head for Jhongli dowwntown. Fare: NT$26. Get off at the terminal station and change to Bus No.132 or No.133.

Taxi:
The service is provided by Taiwan Taxi. Call 4058-8888 anywhere in Taiwan, or dial 55688 on the cell phone. From THSR Taoyuan Station to NCU, taxi fare charges around NT$250.

Car:
Start from Gao Tie South Road to use Provincial Highway No.31, turn left when reaching Jhongjheng Rd., and in a few minutes, turn right to Jhongda Road. TOP

By Intercity Bus
Kuo-Kuang Motor Transportation Company (1 hr., 1 per 15 min., 5:30~22:00, NT$75), E-go Bus Company (1 hr., 1 per 15 min., 6:00~23:30, NT$80-95), and Taoyuan Bus Corp. (1 hr., 1 per 20~30min., 6:00~22:30, NT$70-75) each operates one line connecting Taipei and Jhongli city. Get off at Jhongli Main Intercity Bus Station, and then change to city bus.

To reach the city bus station, walk up on Jhongjheng Rd. from the front train station and turn left at the 2nd crossroad once past McDonald's. Bus ride takes 20~30 min. Fare: NT$18. Bus arrives through NCU Front Gate, then stopping in turn at "Front Gate Security Office", "Zhi-xi Hall", "Yi-ren Hall", "Rear Gate (by female dorms)", and "Panorama (by Monument)" before driving back to downtown.
