Your donations helped a WOLC member get back on her feet by assisting with utilities and medical expenses. Project 58 also assisted another WOLC member with her rent payment, and a single mom battling disease with utilities.

New Fall Small Groups
Our next session will begin in September. Youll have great opportunities to make friends and grow in the faith, through our Discussion Based Groups. Our Sermon Study Groups, where you can go deeper into the Sunday morning sermon and discuss the message with friends, are always popular. Well also have multiple Small Groups For Women, and well offer a brand-new session of Mens Fraternity as well. Be sure to check out the Small Groups Foyer Table today for details and to sign up! Join Pastor Brian Zahnd in a five-week journey of prayer. You will learn to cultivate a theologically sound prayer life in a small group setting. Begins Wednesday, September 4, and meets weekly at 7:30 AM in the Upper Room. Registration is limited, so check out the Small Groups foyer table today to register.

This years theme was WALK BY FAITH. During the chapel services, our children and hundreds of others participated in engaging songs, interactive lessons, and teaching crafted to reach the hearts of kids. There were tons of fun-filled games and activities. Thanks to everyone who donated money to help scholarship children to be able to attend camp this year. Everyone had a great time and theyre looking forward to next years Camp Dry Gulch.

WOLK Classroom Remodel

We would like to thank everyone who gave their time and money to help completely remodel two of our children's classrooms. Thank you for your investment. Imagine Eleven wrapped up on Sunday night, August 11, and by all accounts it was a huge success. Over 4,400 people went to Felix Square in Downtown St. Joe over the course of eleven Sunday evenings this summer to enjoy some wonderful music and great summertime food. More than 200 volunteers from 22 plus churches worked together for six months to make the concert series happen. Best of all, we helped raise awareness and funding for The Center, the only mental health services agency in Northwest Missouri that provides a very inclusive sliding scale for people who need help and are without insurance or other financial options. Word of Life is now serving ONLY gluten free communion bread, in all the communion services. For those with gluten dietary restrictions, we now have the right bread for you.
