But ask first, how is it possible that what the appearance of a living person enters into yourself and the memory permeates your brain to a dead and nothing else but lies your soul in front of it are based, you as illustrative but objectively, as memory still appears limited. The self is no longer limited effect, the subject of memory, but you still reflects the limitation of the shape, which they assumed initially, before. You know not of this world, why, how can you want to know the afterlife. And so I say again: do not close for any reason of this world, you do not know, nor of conditions that you make but by the facts of this world, you know, on the larger and higher facts of the afterlife. The single circuit can err; also the one we only just made, so folders you to no detail, and the union of the conclusions in the direction of what we mainly end and have to call on all conclusion is our faith best support from below his leadership and upward. But you Fatest faith equal right from the top, you would fall down easily, the whole journey of faith, which we put up. Chapter Eleven So how easy would be all for the belief that man could only get used to the word which he has been playing more than a thousand years, that he lives in God and moves and has to see more than one word. Then belief in God and his own eternal life is only one he sees his own eternal life to eternal life of God duly, and in the height of his future beyond his present life is only a higher to a lower structure in God, as he himself has been such in itself, he seizes on the small example in connection of both the higher and the whole, of which he only the part. The intuition in you melts away, and the memory rises from on in thee: thy whole this-worldly view of life melts away in God, and a higher memory life rises from it on in God, and as the memories in your head pervert the minds of the afterlife in the divine head. Just a step above the level of the same staircase that leads not to God, but in God upward, which also has the base and summit itself. As God was with that empty empty imaginary words, how rich is God with his full senses. Do not you know how the views of the afterlife is possible in your mind? You only

know that it really is, but only in a spirit it is possible. So you can easily, ignorant as it is possible to believe in the reality of something beyond your whole mind into a higher spirit, you just have to believe that a higher spirit, and that you're in it. And again, how easy would be all for the faith, when a man could get used to see a truth in the second words that God lives and moves and has in all. Then it is not a dead but a living God through the world, from which the human body is its future and thus built a new house of worship hineinbaut. But if this life-giving faith will come alive? That he makes alive, will make him alive.

Chapter Twelve

You asked whether after, I replied with the how. Faith saves the question of if, but it is done, so there is only one answer to it by the how, and the how long is not clear whether this is not going to stop and to come. Here, the tree stands, some of which may individually leaf fall, but his reason and his connection is good and solid. He will always put out new branches and new leaves will always fall, and he himself will not fall, will drive the beauty of flowers, and instead rooted in faith, bearing fruit of faith.

Postscript The first suggestion of the idea set forth in this document, that the spirits of the dead continue to exist as individuals in the living became to me by a conversation with my, then in Leipzig, now living in Hall's friends, Professor Billroth. By this idea partly intervened in a number of related ideas with me, and sometimes of those awakened, has the same design in the above manner, and extended by a kind of progress necessary to the idea of a higher life of the spirit in God. Meanwhile, the author has, as so particularly taken thereof in the philosophy of religion at all in the doctrine of immortality, one of the persecuted here quite different and more directly adjoining the Church dogma direction which has paid him even from that basic idea largely or completely back, so I, by the same creators as I thought it necessary to call, but no longer dare to call him as their representative. This philosopher's views on the subject in question will be found in a developed, soon to be expected from the same work.
