To act as the offshore delivery leader for a large Insurance firm (s). This position is responsible for leading all Information Technology initiatives and manages through both Direct and Indirect reports. Why does this job exist? Typically clients are outsourcing an entire department or function to Genpact. Genpact is marketing an industry leading practice around a shared services backend model and requires a thought leader who can drive the execution of this structure. They will be expected to work with the onshore Genpact CIO and the client to drive development, maintenance and transformation initiatives on behalf of the client. How does the role add value? The candidate should be a thought leader in the insurance and IT consulting domain, who can look at directing the transformational projects that are underway to help drive the client towards stable operations. How is this role unique from others? Very few roles of this breadth and reach available in the market. Unique ability to be part of a service provider organization with an integrated process and technology scope. This is a new model in the marketplace.

What are the minimum prior qualifications to be an applicant for this role? 15+ years in the industry with strong Insurance background. Must also have very strong interpersonal skills. Prior experience managing offshore delivery for large clients

What are the key initiatives and challenges facing this role in the next six months to three years? Setting up & developing the entire program. On boarding the teams to support multiple client engagements, and establishing consistent delivery standards. Managing Key Operational Metrics for the domain and support the growth to the vertical . Setting up new business operations in the domain, Ability to attract and retain the best talent in the industry. Lead and guide the team technically. Show value beyond the performance and innovate on ideas to improve processes.
