In continuation of this departments earlier advertisement dated 06-10-2012 and 07-10-2012, applications are re-invited in light of amended eligibility criteria for the following post for Walled City of Lahore Authority from eligible candidates having qualification & experience in the relevant field. The recruitment will be purely on contract basis for the period of three years on fixed pay package mentioned below. Conditions:

TORs FOR THE POST OF DIRECTOR GENERAL WALLED CITY OF LAHORE AUTHORITY.

The Director General shall be the Chief Executive of the Authority and shall(i) be a whole time officer of the Authority;

(ii) perform such duties and exercise such powers as are assigned to him under the Act or as may be prescribed or as may be delegated to him by the Authority; and (iii) hold office for a term of three years but shall remain in office for three months thereafter or unit a successor in that office is appointed, whichever is earlier. (iv) The Director General, who is not a Government servant, may resign by tendering his resignation to the Chairperson and shall cease to hold office upon acceptance of his resignation.
