At the end of the course, the participant will be able to: i. ii. iii. iv. v. vi. 2. Describe the regulations and code of practice of confined space work; Identify hazards prior and during entry into the confined space; Be familiar with the common confined space entry equipment, i.e. Gas Detector, ELSA, Man Riding Winch, Tripod, etc; Test and interpret the gas test result; Demonstrate the gas testing operations and the procedure to be taken in the event of an emergency; and Be certified as an Authorised Gas Tester & Entry Supervisor

ENTRY REQUIREMENT(S): i. ii. Attended and passed the Authorised Entrant & Stand-by Person for Confined Space course; AND Possessed a Minimum SPM/MCE/SPVM and equivalent with credit in science and with at least 5 years experience in confined space occupation
