Class Conduct Statement

1. Puppies must be at least ten weeks old the first day of class, be in good health and have had their second set of vaccinations. Older dogs must be current on their shots. A copy of the dog's shot records showing up to date vaccinations must be presented the first day of class. I realize that puppy vaccinations are no guarantee against diseases. Shot records must be on file or brought in for drop in classes as well. 2. All humans will be expected to take responsibility for their dogs actions. 3. Please be respectful to one another and remember this is an open learning environment. There are no dumb questions! Never be afraid to ask something or ask to go over something again. 4. Please be respectful to your dog and other's dogs. Hitting, forcing, alpha rolling, neck jabbing and other harsh methods are means for dismissal from class. 5. No phones during the lecture period of classes please unless it is an emergency. 6. No retractable leashes, prong collars, shock collars, or vibration collars may be worn during class. Slip leads may be allowed under special conditions. Approved restraint devices are: collars, martingales, harnesses, and head collars. Leashes may be four, six or eight feet. 7.
