Do the infant colic or teething tablets need to be placed under the babys tongue? Many parents have success putting the tablets on the babys tongue, just inside the babys cheek, or between the cheek and gum, where they dissolve instantly. All of Hylands tablets, caplets, and pellets contain Lactose N.F. as a base. Lactose is milk sugar derived from cows milk. Although most of our products are considered vegetarian (as long as the active ingredient itself is not from an animal source), they are not considered strictly vegan because of the lactose base. Are Hylands products considered gluten-free? Of the approximately 3500 products that Hylands manufactures, only 3 contain gluten, and oat is the only source of gluten in these products. The 3 products are: Hylands Calms Fort, Hylands Calms, and the single remedy Avena Sativa. The rest of Hylands products are all gluten-free. Do your products carry an expiration date? Homeopathic medicines are good indenitely as they are very stable when stored under normal conditions (away from moisture and excessive heat or cold). For this reason the FDA has exempted homeopathic manufacturers from putting expiration dates on the label. Is it safe to use your tablets if I am lactose intolerant or if I have a sensitivity to milk? All of Hylands tablets contain Lactose N.F. as a base. Lactose is milk sugar derived from cows milk. Just wanted to let you know that Ive been using one of your products with great successthe Arnica 30X tablets for bruising and muscle soreness. Im currently taking karate and Jujitsu and get beat up on a regular basis. During jujitsu we do a lot a grabbing and grappling which can lead to a lot of bruisesespecially in the upper arm. These would usually take more than a week to fade. But now I get on the Arnica whenever I notice a worse than usual bruise. I take it every 4 hours for a day, or two at the most, and I notice the bruise doesnt get as ugly and fades much more rapidly. Then as part of the karate we learn different weapons.
