1. Objective:
Explain the procedures to configure the Smartpack controller in Elteks equipment model E63451808.
2. Responsibility:
Field Installation Personnel: The equipment model E63451818 was not sent with the Smartpack controller installed. The installation must be done by the customer and only executed by qualified personnel at the installation service/startup; This instruction must be read completely before the service execution, like all the others documents and manuals sent with the equipment E63451818.
3. Procedures:
The equipment model E63451818 is compatible with the Smartpack Controller P/N 242100.110 or P/N 242100.118, please for using others models verify with Elteks service support. Connect the Smartpacks cables; please check the electric diagram E63451818-13 and manuals for correct installation. After the Smartpacks installation, follow the instruction s of Users Reference Guide E63451818-91 for the correct start-up. Install the Elteks Software Powersuite For more details of the software: See separate User Guide included in the CD-ROM. Connect the USB cable between the PC and Smartpack, and follows the next steps. 1 Runs the Powersuite and e click on the button Connect.

4 Add the correct USB port like bellow, and connect the software using the service acess level, using the password 3 (type the number 3 in the field).
5 The start window must appear, so click on the option Tools, and select the sub-option Import/Export configuration.

6 Find the file E63451818-09.XML sent in the CD-ROM, and click in Next.

8 Wait the download and restart the communication. Verify the correct model like below.
9 Verify if all system functions are working. For more details: See electrical diagram and Users Guides included in the CD-ROM. Important: Using a known load, check if the battery current is correct (+/-3A is permitted). If the value is not correct, the battery shunt must be calibrated. Read the Powersuite manual (PowerSuiteHelp_3v1b_2009-09-21.pdf) for more details.
