The following service tasks are considered to be an Additional Service under the terms of our Owner-Architect Agreement approved by the EUSD board on March 16, 2012. dsk aka Nexus Partners was directed to stop work on June 6, 2012. On July 30, 2012, we were subsequently directed to proceed with a Feasibility Study to be completed by approximately September 7, 2012. The Study is to address a EUSD program within a construction cost budget of approximately thirty two million dollars ($32,000,000) and a City of Emeryville program within a construction cost budget of approximately sixteen million dollars ($16,000,000). The Study is to also include a schedule that identifies occupancy of the site in the summer of 2012. The study shall also include a recommendation and potential identifiable risks. The Feasibility Study includes the following tasks as additional services: 1) Attend weekly Working Group meetings. 2) Prepare a site study in sketch-up to indicate the exhibit C 120323 Program List of Spaces on the existing Emery Secondary School Site with a maximum utilization of the existing approximately 76,000 square foot main building. The plan shall represent the project proceeding both with and without the Phase Two City program. 3) Prepare a cost model in excel working in conjunction with Turner Construction. 4) Provide a recommendation. In addition to the efforts of dsk, the following consultants from the Basic Service Contract may be included in this agreement: MKThink Concordia LLC Saylor associates Architects Architects Cost Estimating

As such, we will require additional compensation in accordance with the Owner-Architect Agreement, and will submit invoices for payment for this Additional Service. This Additional Service will be performed on a: Lump sum fee basis including reimbursable expenses.

The terms and conditions of the Owner-Architect Agreement apply to this Additional Service Agreement. FEE OF THE ADDITIONAL SERVICE:
