State Bank of India, Chennai Circle, invites applications from experienced Valuers for valuation of fixed assets (Land & Building and Plant & Machinery) Stock Auditors for stock and receivables audit.

(1) Eligibility condition Applicants intending to apply for valuers / stock auditors should fulfil the following eligibility conditions. a. For empanelment as Valuer Registered valuer of land & building and plant & machinery under Wealth Tax Act, 1957 Must be from companies / firms of engineers with at least 3 years of experience. Member of Institution of Valuers. Age not more than 70 years of age For valuation of land & building, the applicant should be a graduate in civil engineering, architecture or town planning of a recognised university For valuation of plant and machinery, the applicant should be a graduate in mechanical or electrical engineering of a recognised university

b. For empanelment as Stock Auditor Registered valuer of stocks under Wealth Tax Act, 1957 Individuals/ companies/ firms of Chartered accountants Age not more than 70 years of age Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Minimum three years of experience in audit of current assets.

2. How to Apply Applications has to be only in the prescribed formats (Form 1, 2 & 3) along with the self-attested copies of proofs / documents for item Nos. 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 23, 24, 25 & 26 listed in Form - 2. In addition to the proofs / supporting documents for the above mentioned item numbers, also furnish the following supporting documents a) I.T. Returns (last 3 years) of the valuer / stock auditors b) Revenue & profit for the last three years (for the company) Incomplete / partly filled applications will be summarily rejected Please send the duly filled in applications along with the enclosures in a sealed cover on or before 31st July, 2013, superscripted Application for Empanelment of Valuers / Stock Auditors to:. Submission of applications in person will not be accepted Applications received after the last date will not be considered The empanelment will be valid for a period of three years or attaining 70 years of age, whichever is earlier Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification The Bank reserves the right to reject any or all applications without assigning any reason thereof Bank reserves the right to change (cancel / modify / add) any of the criteria and method of selection. Empanelment would not amount to any commitment on the part of the Bank to give assignments. Professional fee will be paid as per the Banks prevailing rates and is subjected to change from time to time Decision of Bank in all matters regarding eligibility, selection etc. would be final and binding on the applicants. No representation or correspondence will be entertained by the Bank in this regard.

3. General Instructions Valuers and stock auditors who are already in our panel should also apply again Only applicants found eligible will be called for an interaction to the nearest Zonal office of our Bank All expenses for participating in the interaction will have to be borne by the applicants only
